Looks very capable, and neat. Any running footage?
I guess your customer is too lazy to do this himself.
This b74 looks like my 22x-4
Nice video! Just found your channel. Nice to see how to, tips and tricks for set-ups. You make this old RC guy wish my hands and eyes would allow me to race again 😒 Always loved buggy classes. Nothing was better than having a well set-up buggy smoothly ripping around an off road track.
Ever weigh the total wire you've cut-off? Curious how much weight was saved with your wiring "clean-up". Back when I raced decades ago and shaved weight anywhere I could. People seem to forget copper wire, for what it is, is heavy.. Great Video = new sub
something to do when the wife is having one of those days.
I don't use wires or solder. I connect my Motor, ESC, Servo, and Receiver via Bluetooth. It has that Pro Platinum look.
Looks really good👌👌
Can't wait to try mine
With the crimping of the wires, I find it easier to put the connector in the tool first and start the crimp so it just holds the connection. Then put the wire in and crimp away.
Ok cheers for the tip, I’ll give it a try on the next one
Cable management for the win! Bravo! new sub!
Thanks for the sub, much appreciated
I'm about to build one so this is really helpful. Thank you and I just subscribed to your channel. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the sub! 👍🏻
Looks great!
Nicely done. Any change on a link to the pins kit you used hopefully it's available on amazon

Hi, is this open daily for practice or just at weekends? Id love to have a go on a track but new to the buggy/track racing.
It was but its been taken over and being converted to a dirt basher type track and its on hold due to council reviewing use of this land
Nice!
But, But... where's the black tape, multicoloured zipties & elastic bands.? Your wires are all the same length & don't even loop around the bodyposts for goodness sake... And is that HEATSHRINK I see.?? Pfffft... Next you'll be using the correct screws with only one type of driver head.!😉 😉 😂 😂 👍 Seriously though, that's a great job, I'm just jealous because none of my RCs look that good.! 😉
lol! Glad you like it! :)
What chassis is that
When are you going to get that 1/8 Agama out!
Soon mate! just need to order some new lipo's, I'll do a vid on it soon and get up to Herts for a practice day
Awesome work!
Could you specify the crimping tool you use for those pins you are putting on? I have the set and normally just use my tiny pliers and crimp them all individually but I have been after the right tool for some time.

Really neat, do you have a link to the crimping kit?
no reply about a link for the connector and crimping kits, what a surprise .......

Looks very neat and tidy indeed. You are definitely the man to have a look at my new B7 project, car is built just needs Electrics installed 👍🏼
Thanks very much, yes came out well this one!
@@MH-RC would love you to work your magic on the new build
Funny how it says "off road" for an indoor carpet track...wtf
Yes but I imagine the village hall would be annoyed if we filled it full of dirt! lol But I get what you mean, off road isnt really off road anymore with the rise of turf/carpet but still good fun all the same!
Great racing, love the RB7(yes i am a Kyosho fanboy 😉)have a great upcoming weekend 🙂👍
That Frog is ultra cool! Thank you for including in the video.
I really enjoy your videos bud. There are no tracks where I live, so your videos bring me to a race meet. All delivered with a pleasant and chilled attitude. Much appreciated ✌️
That’s really kind of you buddy! I’ll carry on making some more content and hopefully get the videos better and better!
Very cool! Nice job!
Thanks! 😀
You glue your side of front tires ? Thank you …🍻
Yes tyres glued down to the rims and glue on the sidewalls of the tyres (front only)
Enjoyed the coverage. Nice wrap up of the event.
Thanks very much! 👍🏻
Great video. I'm not sure if you guys know how well off you are in the UK. Your governing body is great and you seem to have just a load of tracks to race on here. Here the governing body ROAR is complete crap and at least in the North East the number of tracks are quite limited.
Thanks for the kind words, yes the BRCA is great in the Uk and we are very lucky to have lots of fantastic clubs in the Uk for on and off road racing
Good stuff Mark, thanks for the upload
Great roundup video Mark. I was the green car you chased down in the final. Good race. Pressure all the way 👍
Ah cool, yes enjoyed our little battle in leg 2, good clean racing
You will get there just keep at it!!!
Thankyou for taking the time to make and upload this. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it ✌️🙏
Thanks so much for the feedback! I’ll carry on putting out the content, my main aim is to feel like you were at the race with me!
Running them too (on 13mm Yok shocks), they work fine :)
Really interesting seeing the basic set up tips, I’m keen to get back into racing & as far as I remember we did everything by eye years ago, definitely need to invest in some of these gages 👍
Yes a ride height gauge and a camber gauge and a flat board or piece of glass and your all set!
Thanks, just placed a small order and i will give them a go. :-)
Oh yeah we are running Blue fronts and Green rear 13mm springs from the Willspeed website
Great set up, love the rostrum balcony 👌
I don't understand how he used a coke bottle to make the body. Gonna need a proper explanation on that.
Not sure how he did it tbh, I didnt make the chassis/shell but just search home vacuum forming on youtube and have a go!
Which way does the motor turn in relation to the wheels with this setup?
Most guys at my club run a 6.0 or a 6.5t motor on carpet, outdoors a 7.5t
@@MH-RC That's not what I'm asking. It's a 5-gear box, does the motor turn the same direction as the wheels or does it turn counter to the wheels? On a "4 gear standup" it turns the same direction, which adds to the inertial forces, squatting the rear more. On any normal 3-gear transmission it turns the opposite, countering the inertial forces somewhat and reducing squat/wheelie tendencies.
it runs backwards like a 3 gear would in the normal car @@Drunken_Hamster
@@MH-RC Thank you. Though I wonder if/when anyone will do a 4 or 6 gear laydown where the motor turns forwards in order to squat the rear more for traction. Or a direct drive, aka longitudinally mounted motor with or without a shaft so that you can move it more forward or rearward in the chassis with ease and simplicity (and possibly more efficiency) compared to adding a crapload of idler gears.
@@Drunken_Hamster it’s something I’ve discussed with WS but not sure it’ll happen, be good to test it though
Subbed. Love to see Kyosho re-group in the 1/10 scene.
Very interesting conversion👌thank you for sharing!🙂
Your welcome!
I wish Yokomo had done it with the newer cars. So much neater.
Yes looks pretty cool doesn’t it!
I have one of these haven't used it much but I absolutely love factory team t4.
I personally think that a piece of purple on a b4 makes it very special.
Interesting to follow your progress as always! Looks like a good place for reinforcing with aluminium, and the blue matches the paint scheme nicely, too!
Wow, so nice. I would love to get my hands on a Zx. Got a Optima Mid last year....👍
Let’s hope it’s coming next on kyosho list or re re cars
Very nice, im praying this is the year i manage to bag a ZX or ZX-R, and if im really lucky, a Triumph aswell 🤞 10.5 guess i’ll see you at revival 😎
Yes be nice if we get a re re zx / zxr from kyosho, Will see how we get on with getting to the revival if not Eden park
@@MH-RC yeah, i need to see if i can make epr, been once and hopefully get there for there vintage event 👍
My old ZX-5 is still outstanding! I just upgraded the esc to mamba max pro and a Bluetooth b link. The old 5700kv sensorless castle motor is still a beast! Parts are getting hard to come bye and bodies are impossible to find.
