I use the rapier the one that has the highest crit damage in the game and also it's a good idea to put golden Perry ash of war on your buckler it'll make this much easier

Thank you, I'm on a quest now to clear the abyssal woods from these things. Golden parry doesn't seem to work at all, best results so far have been with buckler.

Takes 5mins just to do all that. The bird farm is still the quickest way to get runes unfortunately.

The only question remains. Why youll ever need to farm runes? I have lvl167 after clearing whole map up to maliketh. Isn't that more than enough?

That’s because you cleared the whole map. Personally I finished the game around lvl 140 with very minimal map usage, so a pretty casual run. Did no rune grinding myself
Yes I’m currently level 279 and can basically be any build I want
If you we go off the time it takes on the video yeah than it would be 800k per 5 minutes. However you speed up the video, when falling the attacks that you did are much faster than the last one before opening the map. And I know that's the original speed of a attack because i used this for mohg.

@Pod_TM No it doesn't, you can easily do it with Radahn's Swords or any other weapon that has a high damage area of effect

Just tested this on NG, looks like making the dumb bird jump is *marginally* faster still (only getting like 100k-ish per 2-something minutes on NG), but this looks excellent for subsequent NG+...Unless I'm doing something wrong
No, you didn't do anything wrong. he speed up the video when he was falling, his attacks are much faster than it should be before opening the map when we can see one last attack in original speed

I must've warped out early, I only got 20k from this jump after falling for 2 minutes. Found this by accident by following the bloodstains.
