I set this channel up to post videos that we recorded of various activities performed in our honeybee queen rearing and bee breeding operation. I hope it allows you to get a glimpse of what we do, and why we do it. This is our own personal spin on an ancient relationship between humans and honeybees. The main goal of our toils is to further the selection and distribution of hardy, mite resistant, and productive stocks of bees.

We recently did a trial with UBeeO. It measures a form of mite and disease resistance in honey bees by measuring their response at 2hrs from spraying brood with unhealthy brood pheromones. The bees did great!

Just down the road from ya, its been pretty miserable. Supposed to be cooler but rain tomorrow. We need a rain though, its got pretty dry here. Clover and soybeans right now, cotton has a little ways to go.

Until there is explained with evidence a solid linkage to this product and varroa brood sensitivity as a Egg Police trait, then all we see here is another means to stress out some bees - easily done by pi55ing in the cup, no applicator needed! And please, when asked a question on camera do provide the answer expected, not the obvious, Rory. [later] Kaira now says (on message) your "hot tip" in adding grease is rubbish, chiding you for not considering temperature... garbage 'science' that diversion is. Neither of you have any insight in breeding as risk for whichever sucker buys into that spin for UBO scored virgin queens! No skin in the game myself, beyond being a customer of reputable breeders, the premium advice to be offered here is to step off this train before even greater erosion of credibility occurs - the wise would be jumping, before the station. Your ride... or road.😀

I give you credit you have so much patience. I wonder if the same colony would score different depending on time of summer , or mite level? Did you ever do the same hive spring and fall , low vs high mite wash level?
Would love to see results of Harbo assay on those same colonies done about the same time.
