On it now, should be good for the remainder of the campaign but if we go out in Group Stage, going to be hard to shift another 5kg in a week!

Don't throw at twenty on 119 unless you're good enough that you actually believe you can realistically hit treble. Hit single 19 and you can still go out in two darts. Hit single 20 and you can not. That's what I was very badly explaining!

Haha, me too. Someone told me this about 119 years ago as a throwaway comment when we were playing a match and it always stuck with me, been meaning to make a video regarding it for ages!

Was baltic. Still a decent stadium, would be a competitive top flight ground up the road but half finished stands never look good - same at Port Vale!

When I am on a diet plan I have great discipline but, at all other times I am a moron. 122+kg, you definitely don't weight that much buddy but yes, losing KG is always going to be a good thing for guys like you and me! Hey, maybe it will help my darts🤣🤣

Hi, great to read this, you sound like a slightly better player than me for sure! Got a few more practice drills upcoming in the next couple of weeks. I'm pleased you managed to achieve the ten - I have never 'knowingly' achieved it, ie when I have been specifically counting. I may have hit a clump of twenties consecutively when playing matches and not realised that it was 10+ but I'm not convinced.....Do you play online?

@diabolicaldarts Sorry for the delayed reply. (And I seriously doubt I'm better than you. My wife got me a board a few years ago for Christmas, and I really enjoy throwing and trying out different darts and set up. To answer your question, no. I've never played online. I bought my friend a board and some darts a couple of years ago so I'd have someone to play. The closest thing to online play is when we play over Google Meet, and aim our phone cameras at the board. I'd like to try playing online, but I'm not sure where to start. I know Dart Connect is popular, but I don't really know what kind of setup most people use. Do people often use two cameras, or just one? That would be a good video. Showing a basic set-up for online darts. And are there any unwritten rules or etiquette when it comes to online play? Thanks again for the videos, and I really appreciate your replies!

Yes it is a nice touch, certainly not seen that before! Really pleased with three darts.

It's a good venue, plenty going for it - can get lively at times, have seen it "standing room only" (if that) on football match days, depending on the size of the visiting support. As you say, pool table too close but everything else good!

Tweed jackets in Bletchley, I've heard it all now! Good question and as you infer, I believe it is different generations of the same board. There's a Blade 6 which was followed by Blade 6 Dual Core - the latest version on the market is Blade 6 Triple Core. I think they have different logos. Great darts set-up coming up this Monday coming.

Wow, that is an interesting couple of things to have happened there, I wouldn't have thought that but why not with the large venue and vast grounds! Mate that sounds fantastic and well above average for a pub set-up as it a good board and good lighting. Any sort of tape oche is absolutely fine in a pub so long as you know where to stand - 'physical' oches are fairly rare and an added bonus.

Fair comment. I place a lot of emphasis on the fact that a top of the range board has been invested in and provided for use, you're right the condition is far from great. Perhaps a seven would've hit the mark, six - that's tough grading!!

Now what I really want to see is how good the legend that is Griga Darts is on a soft-tip board!!!!! :-))))
