In this video I created a ring from a 3D printed PETG ring. I added multiple small slanted inlays for the opal mix and copper flakes. It's a very unusual piece but I enjoyed making it!

Amazing job
I loved the opals and black resin. I was ok with the size of the opals. You didn’t really ask my opinion, but I’m not sure I could work with anything smaller.
David this is another way to do a ring I have not tried this way, thought you might want to see this. Craft supply is where I should you the ring kit I used
What's in the spray bottle? You were spraying something in between applying the superglue.
“CA” is super glue, right..? Can you buff and polish that..? Is it OK for skin contact…?
WoW!!!
Should use some type of precious metals
Music is like a bad dream, you should add more chord changes so it doesnìt get like a bad toothache.
Bro this is awesome looks great 👍🔥
Wow. I've been looking for a nice ring for many years after a "friend" stole it after I had it made I Bangkok. Can I do payments if I don't win the give away gift?
Dónde se compra esa madera?. Gracias
horrible music
Would it be possible/feasible to make a ring like this using only hand tools/a dremel? I'm a complete tool and handicraft noob but this looks great and I'd love to try making a ring like this.
Complete newbie to resin rings. Why the two types of resin here? Couldn't the Alumilite be used for making the core as well? Thanks
What a wonderful work ❤😊
May i ask wich lathe you are using? I habe a big one nur i think a small one maybe is easier to use for work with such small tools. Thanks for sharing such a nice Video
is the walnut veneer more durable than a walnut ring cut from a block of wood?
What chuck is thay? I just got one to try making a ring with but didnt realize it only can close down to 1.6". Will be roo large to put a ring inside for finsihign. Bummer lol
I would love to have that ring. You did a great job!
Great video. What type of chisels do you use? Just some small general wood carving chisels? They look smaller than lathe chisels.
What is the blue core material?
Is there another name for the salt powder?
The whole process is so smart, thank you
Excellent
MASTER Class :-)
That is a really beautiful Ring! Love to watch craftsmen like you working!!
Am 5 years too late!
Beautiful
What kind of wood would I need to be able to do this? Appreciate your time
Whered you go man
Probably busy scamming people on etsy.
Hey bro, how long do you dip the burl in hot water for?
Where do you get the thin veneer like resin?
I'm so doing this
amazing
WHAT İS THE LİQUİD YOU THREW ON THAT TREE?
Hi, great job. How thin is the walnut? Thanks
I tried the UV resin you used here but the ring i coated never got fully hard and smooth. It remained aort of rubbery to the touch no matter how long i left it in the UV bath. I thought it would turn out more plasticy or galssy to the touch. Any suggestions?
What lathe tools do you use I have been trying to find smaller tools but to no avail
Beautiful ring and wonderful job, Thank you. I think that my first ring will cost me $2000.00, give or take.
Be
Oh wow! What a great job and a beautiful ring. I haven't made one yet, but I intend to try. Thanks for the detail. Say again what kind of soaking CA did you use? I have to practice on something before I attempt to do something of this caliber.
can you answer a question for me? now that it's been 5 yrs how has the UV held up on the inside of the ring, any issues with the copper turning finger green after the UV bath over time?
How are you keeping it from getting stuck to that wooden dowel... with all that CA?
Does anyone know what uv bath he uses?
What uv bath do you use?
Beautiful! I saw in a different video that you use Alumi UV. What uv bath do you use? I cant find one that shoots light from all angles
I liked the look of the ring. It’s very nice
My oh my, my birthstone sure is DAM'N PRETTY ISN'T IT?
Beautiful! What type of granulation do u use for sanding?
