Great list...the only thing I'd do differently is make it a top 6 and include Nicole & Derek's Paso Doble, because he did such an amazing job at blending together the Paso Doble moves along with some 50s style, and it really is the perfect modern/classic Paso fusion

To be fair here, Joe technically didn't rob Juan Pablo of a spot in the finals, since they were eliminated on the same night. If anyone robbed JP that season, it was Bobby Bones, who shouldn't even have made it to the end, let alone won

You said it, I think Milo and Whitney should of won. Bobby shouldn’t of won. Sharna was great, but Bobby was not the best dancer at all. The best dancers were by far, Milo and Juan and their partners.

I would not blame Marie for that freestyle completely. The choreo was a real issue there. That’s being said, I always find it bizarre how Americana is associated with ytness. Blonde girls. Sports. Politics. And religion. Americans are native. Does no one else realize that?

Watching P's dance, I can agree on so many levels. How people cheer at him I don't understand. Also he was trying to promote himself too much afterwards. It also makes me surprised that Bruno was that harsh back in the day even before Len took over as the harsh judge.

While I like Contempery, I did have an issue with it the last two seasons. In the semifinals, everyone had either a jazz or Contempery as their second dance and it bothered me because everyone was doing the same dance, and it drove me nuts

Sorry I’m late with this comment, but can I just say I think hit the nail on the head here? It just so happens that these are my pet peeves too. Not only have I noticed that we seem to share a lot of the same opinions on Dancing with the Stars, but you’re a great presenter! That and the Content is what keeps me sticking around. Please keep it up! My personal pet peeve in addition to these that you mentioned is when the style of dance and the piece of music to which it is set do not match rhythmically. I’ve seen a few cases of this and I really don’t like it. The best examples I can give are Elizabeth and Val’s Viennese Waltz and Terra and Sasha‘s Cha-Cha, from seasons 17 and 23 respectively. I’m not saying that these dances were bad, in fact Terra & Sasha are my personal favorite DWTS couple of all time. I’m just saying that most of the dances on the show have specific rhythms and it throws me off when they are set to songs that don’t match. I’ll admit that sometimes I find the rhythm when I watch the dance again, but sometimes I don’t. When I don’t, I get confused. Again, I’m not trying to be negative, this is just an observation. I don’t know if anyone else notices it, but I think it’s worth mentioning. You kind of touched on rhythm with your point on Salsa beat v. Samba beat, but I wasn’t sure you thought of my point specifically. That’s why I wanted to share it. By the way, I never knew about the small difference between salsa and Samba beats. As you can probably tell from what I’ve said earlier, I have enough of a sense of rhythm to know that they are different. I just didn’t know what the difference was and I certainly didn’t know that the difference was so small. This is one of many times where I felt like I’ve learned something from one of your videos.Thanks again for such an engaging content!😀

My #1 is when there are NO REAL STEPS and the JUDGES DON'T CALL THEM OUT. No more waltz routines where they do 2 natural turns and then do fluff. Considering that the audience is not trained to see this, the judges should really dock major points so the contestants ACTUALLY LEARN THAT STYL and not some lacking imitation I suggest following the DVIDA syllabus. The first two weeks the couples can only do newcomer moves. The next three weeks are bronze. The next 2 weeks silver. The next two weeks gold and the final weeks are more open. Last Friday my coach taught us a Mambo routine from Tony Dovalani where they use lots of fancy moves that look good with little technique where one person does basics in place while the other dances around them. At some point you are learning a routine that is vaguely based off the style and not the style themselves. We need to put the cha back into the cha-cha-cha.

I think my biggest pet peeve is how some of the quality of dances and scoring have changed. We’ve seen several quickstep’s and tango’s that have broken hold and the judges rave about it and give high scores such as 9s and 10s. Now in the earlier years, if the ballroom hold had been broken the judges would have ripped a new one and given out low scores for doing such (For example: Mario Lopez from season 3)

Contemporary/Jazz i genuinely enjoy, though I can see how it bothers you. Personally if someone had dance experience, I’d rather them not be allowed to have dances they are in (i.e. JoJo Siwa wouldn’t get Jazz) this doubles for the experience thing imo. WITNEY AND MILO’S CHARLESTON IN THE FINALE LIKE I WANNA SEE THE DANCE NOT ROBIN’S FACE-

James wasn't eliminated technically because he actually quit because his wife had miscarried the baby.He wanted to leave to be with her but she told him to dance anyway.He said he would leave so the judges picked him to leave over Ally.

Dancing on Coasters: I could be wrong, but I think Nyle's disability and his freestyle (which was stronger than Paige's in my opinion) is part of what enabled him to win. I think if Paige was going up against Ginger she might've had a higher chance of winning because Ginger was not that strong of a dancer like Paige was. Besides, I think if Paige had won there would've been a lot of backlash against her, although personally, I found Nyle's win to be kind of predictable; not bad, just predictable.
