I have hashimotos no thyroid can I use?
There is actually a way to treat with Naltrexone while on opioids. Its called Very low dose and ultra low dose. Its a very delicate approach but has worked for many.
Do you take health insurance?
Very informative

Low dosage naltrexone June 2024 I was prescribed LDN to balance my antibodies for hashimotos. I am female at age 69yrs. I started on on 5/23/24. I started with .75 mg which is one pill. Took it for 2 weeks, increased it to two pills which is 1.50mg. Today 6/21/24, I'm on my 5th week which is my third pill at 2:25 mg. At this point I have no negative side effects, I do take it at night. I guess the best thing that I noticed with LDN is that I don't get tired. As soon as I get new blood work I will find out how my antibodies have been reduced. I have listened to several CZcams videos from different doctors, amazing what this drug can do for so many health issues. All doctors should be educated on this amazing drug to help patients feel better.
Can’t find the transcript on this.
I did some research on LDN and presented it to my rheumatologist today, telling him why I would be a good candidate for this. He says he does not prescribe that but referred me to a pain management specialist to see if I may be able to be prescribed some through them. I heard from a friend who has been taking this for 15 years that I may not be able to get it from anyone else but a homeopathic type of a doctor. Can you tell me more about this? Also, would this be covered by insurance because that’s going to be a huge factor for me. I have Hashimoto’s fibromyalgia and RA. I am 55 years old and it is affecting my quality of life as I am generally a more active person. That’s just the tip of the iceberg,
You answered most of these questions throughout the panel presentation. Great info . Thank you so much.
Try AgelessRX .
Any medication that is compounded, the majority of the time is not covered by insurance. My suggestion to find a doctor that can prescribe this to you call a compound pharmacy in your neighborhood in your area and ask him what doctors do prescribe the LDN
That's what I am looking for optimization 🎉
Multi generation Hashimoto's in my family 😢
Wow, who knew? ✌️❤️
Armour thyroid literally has been a game changer for me... i would encourage everyone to read Dr David Brownstein book
Do you need to worry about increased thyroid levels with naltrexone if you have had a thyroidectomy? Looking at using it for weight loss but I have had a thyroidectomy and am taking armour thyroid.
I saw your video and visited your channel.Your channel has many subscribers but there are lots of workspaces in your video optimization areas . You need to improve more and update your issues. If you update it that will help your videos reach your audience, and video views, likes, and subscribers will increase organically. thanks
Are there any videos for people who have had complete thyroidectomy?
Is there a written transcript of this ? I;m hearing impaired and I can;t understand everything being said
My thyroid got burned out after my second pregnancy
Fantastic interview. So much good information. I'll definitely watch again. Thank you!!!😊
Are the risks associated more with untreated thyroid function or even with treatment is still a chance for those outcomes?

How to loose over wt.with hypothyroidism?
Mary Shomon, I finally have a face to put with person! You have been my lifesavor going back many years. One day as I was dreading an appointment with my pcp to check my dose, I took the bull by the horns in advance of the appt as I finally reached my limit(40 years too late). Thanks to the internet which wasn't around in the seventies and some creative boolean searches(I'm a computer analyst) I found your site. I was diagnosed at University in 1976 while I was a nursing student at a local college. It started out great until I needed to move on and find a gp. It's been madness ever since with one exception I post below. I have your book. The best thing that ever helped me for which I am eternally thankful to you for is learning the norms and for the first time understanding the different tests plus adding cytomel for the first time(why didn't my doctors know this?). It was a game changer! We did not cover these things in nursing schools. Can you talk about Hashimotos and the erratic TSH levels? It's different for autoimmune thyroid disease as opposed to clinical thyroid disease. Doctors see them all as the same thing and gauge the dose on the TSH and it will be the same for everyone with no consideration of the underlying factors. One size fits all. I am since discovering that it's not so!
I shopped around, found someone with great reviews and optimized my dose then retired and it's back to square one as my regular gp undid all the great work he did. I have a new endo. He picked up the reason for my my low tsh - it was my cytomel, not my synthroid!
Antibiotic thyroid medicine from Dr emuakhe on CZcams from Africa vanished my thyroid case and haven't seen any reoccurrence to date, you're truly an epitome of good treatment..............
i am v sick with thyroid immune - Hashi's. But LDN is expensive where I live, you have to get it from a special compounding pharmacy. No way could I afford it and who wants to be on a medicine all their lives ? There must be another way. Sounds so promising but tried so many things and they do not work, have a placebo effect then back to ground zero. So over trying sh*t that costs so much money and getting no where :(
Hi, I have been told by one Dr who has said I have hypothyroid and another Dr hyperthyroidism. I'm confused. I do have Scleroderma, too.
Does it help Parkinson’s?
Simm
They just can't stop this bs. I use it and it works for me. They need to butt out and stop trying to dictate what I want to take. Using scare tactics. I can't get anything from my health food store any longer.
Total thyroidectomy in 2019 due to graves thyrotoxicosis, gp left me undiagnosed for over a year, I went into thyroid crisis 😢.. So after thyroidectomy I was put on T4 levo, I have really bad stomach /gut issues (colitis /lactose intolorent) the first lot contained lactose, I got that sorted 😢 took gp 5 months to realise my bloods were only going to get worse, because I had server diarrhea, cramping and inflammation. The next T4 did much the same, but my gp insisted I keep taking the lactose free levo after one year my T3 was on the floor, the endo suggested malabsorbtion /conversion and put me on T3, unfortunately nothing as changed with my bowle/stomach issues, all these thyroid meds are synthetic, I've always had a really hard time on synthetic medication, but no gp or endocrinologist will help me. They prefer to keep me unwell, I recently asked about NDT and were told in no uncertain terms that my endocrinologist would never prescribe NDT.. Just go back on T4 😠 I refused and now my T3 as been stoped😡 I'm in the UK and under the awful nhs, no endocrinologist as actually looked after my health.. and that stinks💩 What gives these people the right to decide what we take 🤷♀️ if NDT works and we feel good why can't we have it😠😠😠
Can LDN ve used for burning mouth syndrome?
I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos which I clearly had all of my life.. and was prescribed this by a neurologist after punch biopsy revealed 30% decrease in sm nerve fibers…I received RAI for Graves’ disease 30 years ago.. I was unable to tolerate the affects of LDN after driving to a compound pharmacist, and trying lower and lower doses, I always felt drugged.
Slow COMT+MTHFR is more common that you think :) we combo types are probably the biggest consumers of info on MTHFR since most practitioners on YT/online don't address what to do. The best advice I've found so far is skip the methylated vitamins, take folinic acid for folate (start really low and work up) and take creatine to reduce the body's demand for methyl donors to make creatine. I also take small amounts of methionine for methyl donors since I don't eat chicken. (Be careful not to take too much methionine/eat too much chicken as cancer cells love methionine).😮 I take the other Bs of course- just umethylated
46:00!
P.S. It seems so many doctors & health professionals in the United States view vitamins + supplements as "snake oil" remedies; and, so many never suggest trying supplements - instead simply write a prescription / RX for a pharmaceutical. I believe the American Medical Association should encourage a more Eastern approach in addition to always selecting a pharmaceutical drug to treat their patients.
Another person (me 🙃) dealing with the lasting effects of COVID. I got sick & sicker and tested positive for COVID on 8/27/23. It's now 11/20/23 --- finally had blood tests done, turns out my thyroid numbers are way off re TSH is extremely low (.005), and, Thyroxine is high (14.0). I am still experiencing fatigue, ringing in my ears; and, most disturbingly shaking in my arms & legs! I return to the doctor on Wednesday to discuss my blood tests - thankfully most were normal, except my thyroid tests! As scared as I am to be dealing with hyperthyroidism - at least there will be some help ahead in order to begin feeling like myself again ... 🙏 Sending healing thoughts to all who are suffering with their health albeit from Long COVID or otherwise! I'm grateful to have found this CZcams channel, and, specifically this conversation! ❤️🩹
I put this video on x2 just to try and some helpful information without spending my whole day. Doctor Patel didnt say anything helpful before leaving the interview. This lady interviewing is not asking leading questions.
Dr Patal, how did you reverse your symptoms?
Hey Paloma people, respond to your CZcams comments.
Wish you guys would talk about men a bit more, but its fine. Just got diagnosed with the Hashi and its interesting because about a year ago i decided i had some sort of carb sensitivity with brain fog and all that.
I’ve had ME/CFS/Fibro for over 40 years - since my twenties. I’ve just found out about LDN - my GP said no - but I’ve managed to get it privately and start soon. Hoping for some improvement.
Do you have any updates? How has the LDN affected your health?
What is AIP
anti-inflamattory protocol / diet
Thank you !
The FDA doesn’t care about us they care about MONEY!
Between the title of this video and the comments, it seems like there is nothing low dose naltrexone doesn't treat and fix.
First 2 question resonates with me. I have been struggling for a long time, properly since 2015 with Hashimoto's/hypothyroid and my current conventional medicine doctors has been playing racket ball with my labs and t4 medication and I'm so frustrated.
This Aleksandar terrorist change HEPTANON to METHADONE.
LDN fixed my chronic rapid heart rate, and is helping with the anxiety associated with it.
