Where are you guys located ?
Also works on 80-86 F150 also !
Having a P-71in the past I like this swap but not sure about ride height. Not a Fan of overlowered trucks. Can it be used with a ride height of only 2” under stock ??
On your welding 1/2" tacks skipping around if you don't heat up no warping keep moving until you fully welded
Interesting! You need a camera person that knows how to zoom in couldn’t see any of the details you were talking about
Really awesome work!
When is the next time coming??
Is this the same as RRS Suspension ?
May be a dumb question I have a 50 f1 is there any way to norrow. The crown vic Ft end to fit earlier trucks, cars
Great info. I am starting to wire cars and was wondering what your labor charge is? Thanks
0:33 the BEST front frame support BEFORE removal of the factory stuff I have seen !
Why didnt you do anything on rust prevention inside ? The steel torkboxes are not very good prevent against rust. Spray weldtrue on them or undercouting These things rust out easy.. !
He did spray weld through.
I wish I had seen this video before I started my switch on the Crown Vic excellent job please save me a lot of time and scratching my head that's exactly how you do it
Awesome video. Ive got two trucks i want to do this on. One with a Coyote swap as well ('74 F-100). The other is a '94 F-150, local built in Norfolk, VA (i live in Virginia Beach, VA) and all original. Can't wait to get this done. Did i hear y'all were doing a kit for this? That would be outstanding. When would that be available? Y'all tale care.
i've watched this video a number of times. you guys have a great product.i am gonna get the install kit that you sell. it seems to be of really high quality. but, i have one question. what tells you for sure that the center of the shock tower holes is the actual center line of the front wheel? part of the reason i ask is that the center of the shock mount on the CV front end doesn't seem to be the wheel center line.
I dig it
No, they don’t fit. Just because it’s budget doesn’t mean it fits or looks good. That suspension is to wide for ford trucks.
I put a crown vic suspension in my 67 dodge truck. Had to make new frame rails from the cab mounts forward, but worth it.
Great video,perfect explanation,awesome visual..
The best is a mustang 2 front clip
Thanks for this info. When you cut the bitch for the back piece to the firewall how do you seal all the bare metal so it doesn't rust
Weld through primer.
Great video. We're restoring our '67 fastback right now. How do you prevent rust behind these panels (i'm paranoid about rust....not sure if it's justified...), but wondered what could be done to ensure long life for metal.
Excellent video on the installation and why you did what you did to complete the installation. I'm looking at doing the conversion on my 54 F100 and this is what I was looking for. Saw this earlier and lost the video and it's taken 2 hrs. To remind this awesome video! Thank you immensely 😊
This guy just keeps repeating himself. Tell me once and move on.
Excellent vid appreciate the comprehensive explanation 👍🏽
Where is part 2….?
Hi I like your videos! You know if this suspension fits a 1959 Chevy truck? Thanks,
How about 42 chevy pickup truck .???
51 chevy?
Very good video. Very clear install.
DO (2010-2011) LINCOLN TOWN CAR AND CROWN VICTORIA SHARE THE SAME FRONT SUSPENSION?
As a veteran mechanic I can’t fathom doing framework and not just sandblasting the entire chassis and have a clean slate to work with as inexpensive it is. Makes no sense just makes more professional job and clean to do accurate fabrication.
Thanks for the video - Is that a 67-68 torque box Dynacorn Coupe/Fastback part or a 65-66-67-68 convertible torque box Dynacorn part?
Informative content on a somewhat bare frame is excellent. The backbone of most projects. Thank you sir, just the 30 minutes refreshes knowledgable builders and your crafty homebrew guy like me.
Thanks for an awesome video! Was thinking about re-doing my 1967 Mustang Gt Ex- race car. Lots of things disconnected for years, Fan, heater, radio. Just running basic things, wipers, lights, turn signals etc etc. 460 big block with MSD 6AL box. Fog lights and cooling fans run off relays to the hot side of the Solenoid. Which KIT would you recommend please? Was thinking "Painless" kit until I came across your Video. Thanks much for any feedback. Cheers from Motown/Dearborn. Oh, New subscriber here. :>)
My 65 mustang has aHotchkiss suspension with sub frame connectors. Would torque boxes be duplicating the rigidity that I presently or do the add anything?
That would be the last front end I would choose. Those truks ride so good stock and their tough and simple
I agree with you.
Do like that you use the ford tubes x4 and bolts and nuts
Great video. This is exactly what I needed. I'm building a 69' from scratch and there aren't any other videos that explain the process as well as yours. Thank you
go and see Jo daddy garage ,,, he does whole mustangs..good luck
Chevy lls?
Very good video well done
Good info!! I have owned my 66 2+2 since 1975. Ballpark how much would one pay to have these installed. My car is kinda mild but sure these would be good to add. thx
Do you have a install video for whole sysytem?
It’s amazing how well your videos are made and so little views.
*Need advice* I'm at the early stages of a complete restoration of my 1970 Mustang sports roof. It's nothing special VIN wise, but it's been in the family since it was purchased new from the dealer. It has recently had an acid bath, and all the cancerous sheetmetal has been replaced. I already started putting new suspension under it (front is complete, and I'm about to start the rear). My question is should I start the wiring next or should I wait until after the paint and bodywork?
I was watching some restoration videos from a builder and he did all the paint first so as to minimize taping.
I have a 1980 ford custom f100 can I fit a crown vic front suspension like this?
Cuanto sale un trabajo así?
@gateway mustang will this work on a 73 F250 ?
hello great video, where do you get your torque boxes from.....do you have part numbers? Thanks
Video Is ok in part you don't need all of Meyer Mentes tu much a bla bla
lol using the pota poty to straighten the frame. Really nice work thanks for sharing.
awesome
