You have a really cool looking Rover why do keep on complaining its a 17 year old land rover fix the problem move on. the LR3 and LR4 are very capable 4x4s roomy and comfortable vehicles either you love it or you dont or you made a mistake buying the rover i think your confusing everybody. i have a LR4 with the 5.0 V8 and i love it have no problems yet.

Ive yet to meet a jeep owner that hasnt had a absolute ton of issues. And im talking about jeeps that are 3,4 years old. My lr3 is a 06 my friends wrangler is a 2015 and that thing has broke down every two months for years. Drive a wrangler twenty miles and your body hurts. Another thing about these videos that bugs me is every land rover vs jeep or bronco video always has the land rover with 30/31" tires vs a ford or jeep with 35's... why no videos of a base wrangler vs a base rover

When you added the lift to the air suspension you took the rovers ability to absorb the wheel travel. That extra height ment that the rover was constantly in extra high lift mode, and that's meant only for getting yourself off a rock or whatever is high centering you. You can't drive far or over like 30 mph in that mode. Maybe it needed a reset. Also had you kept the tires the same size when it dropped it wouldn't bottom out in the wheel wells.

Another thing the air suspension did better is it had more articulation from left to right because of the Cross link system connecting the airbags to each other left to right to mimic a solid axle so even though they were independent they were still connected left to right as far as air flow but now the coils are completely independent of each other . If it was just the air tank or the air pump that would have been a lot cheaper to replace than that coil job

Have you had any funky experiences where everything on the dash lights up and transmission fault and all this stuff that isn't true and you have to disconnect the battery cables and make it reset the system and then it's totally fine even though your battery and your alternator were good prior? Mine did that once and I hear that sometimes it happens . I just got my lr3 a few weeks ago and put on the Johnson Rod 2.5. I have a discovery Series 2 with raptor paint and 4-in lift with adjustable Terra Firma solid axle coils front and rear the whole nine yards with Johnny joints and everything and it's all flexed out but man this lr3 is great on the road and on the long easier Scenic trails

I am not clear aboit what you gained vs what you have lost. Air suspension gives you great flexibility on and off road.

Honestly I have clunky feet and wear nike air max so driving shoes would help with catching on the pedals!!

Hopefully you got an LR3 with the Heavy Duty option which gives you a Rear Locker in addition to the standard Center Diff Lock. As you know that makes a world of difference to the real extreme off road capability. I've had our HSE 2006 LR3 for the last 15 years. Its got 207k miles on it, and that 4.4 V8 is running better than new. Replaced the huge radiator just a few months ago, and a new alternator, 3 / 4 air shocks, 2 air pumps, and yes every unit needs sunroof drains replaced. But we LOVE this beautiful baby. Its Chawton White, with tan leather interior, so I'm a wee bit jealous of your exterior color.

I've camped many times there, never experienced anything of such. In and around Big Pine, yes, I've experienced a lot of paranormal activity. Also in Death Valley camping at Mesquite Spring hearing knocking on my truck late at night, I'm the only person there.

I lived in Joshua Tree for four years I did night time landscape photography out there in the park about once a month. One night I had a very unnerving experience in one of the most uneventful touristy spots in the park. I was literally at the very first boulder group about fives miles into the park, when things got very weird to say the least.

Well, isn't a jail close to there. I'm more afraid of that than no ghosts.

I live in that valley n the only thing u need to worry about is mountain lions and the wether.

After your lift with the coils . Have you had any control arm or axle issues?

Ive camped there at least a dozen times with the dogs. No bad feeling just amazing star gazing and amazing scenery.

I'm going back and forth on the air suspension I would like to know is the old man emu 2 inch is more than enough or do you think 4 inch is better and must have also will a 4 inch lift do more suspension damage.?

no way the suspension lift cost $5K. Atlantic British sells the 2" lift Coil Overs for $1400 and the Lucky 8 spaces are $500. In you driveway with basic tools you can be done in 3-4 hours. Pay a mechanic ay $150 hour that $600. Total $2500.

LR3 owner here My wife and took ours through the Redwoods and drove through a few trees 😂🤣😂 fun and scary, thought we might get stuck 😂🤣😂, nope just lowered the LR3 and folded one mirror 😅

Can you talk more about what the law is about traveling with a hand cannon in your car? Does the ammo have to be separated? Can you sleep with it loaded? Do you walk around with it while cooking and camping? I gotta imagine (not for that particular location) a mountain lion would sneak up on ya and have you by your neck before you can get to your gat…especially with a little bourbon in your system at night. The big confusion is all about race car and track car , Nissan did make some of the best & beautiful race cars but not track car, a track car is what a normal person can buy and just track it as it's not legal on the road!

Never understood why people chose a vehicle, where one of the thing that made it special is having air suspension, then proceeds to remove that air suspension. It was literally what you wanted and therefore bought it, and you changed it to just another truck. Could have spend less money fixing the air suspension than converting it to coils.
