…so, I’m driving in my truck in Fresno California, and I turn on this rock station. The DJ plays Miracles out of Nowhere. I grew up in the late 70’s and the 80’s, so I didn’t know much about Kansas beyond their hits. After the song finished, I knew I needed to hear the rest of this album….

I really loved their first 2 or 3 albums. Going to see them again in November. Ive probably seen them a dozen times. First time in Pittsburgh 74 or 75. They were playing with Queen and Styx I think. Few years ago. I also think it was at the Syria Mosque.

Amazing tune. Kansas did so many. The Highlander did much for Dust In The Wind, but Closet Chronicles might be their Magnum Opus, with an honorable mention to He Knew.
