Polypharmacy Pitfalls & Pearls (w/ a Panel Discussion)
I wish we could invite him for our grand rounds❤
Think this post is maybe what you refer. Natural Hygiene was taught by Natives to USA medical people & those teachings remained the law of the land up until the late 1800's when big pharma began to take over making Natural Hygiene unjustly obsolete until early 1900's when Herbert M. Shelton re-founded the orthopaedic practice at his health sanatoriums & by the 1950's he ran for potus, but big oil land grabs & big pharma swindles had a monopoly by then, also it was further corrupted by the liquor industry that had spiraled out of control as a drug of choice ever since the 1930's. So it is way past time to make Natural Hygiene a part of our daily lives again, as the once sober apple cart was upset too many times over the years by oppressive governmental inebriated addicts who have been increasingly abusing a once sound medical practice here in America for far too long. Here is my take on needed improvements for those who have yet them or even considered changing these corrupt current laws yet. Back around the 70's reagan began shutting down state hospitals to save taxes for the rich resulting in an ever increasing spiral of homeless street people & overcrowded prisons. Reagan was inebriated on his bubbly. That points to another mess up that occurred back in the 30's when they made alcohol their drug of choice as legal recreation & criminalized other intoxicants. Past time for a resolution to both these gross errors. 1- make all drugs & alcohol legal medically with supervision. 2-drug & alcohol test all law enforcement, politicians, educators & gun owners at their own expense, never as illegal recreation in use currently. Until those insane obsolete laws, rules & regulations are changed with appropriate resolutions the errors of the past will continue to escalate.
Thanks
I agree with the bulk of it except when he says added fats/oils make appetite more and put on weight…This does not seem to apply to butter , coconut oil and stearic acid in moderate quantities, there may be exceptions with this when a person needs to loose lots of weight is therefore insulin resistance, but I have suspected from info I have seen that moderate amounts of saturated fats as butter or coconut oil or stearic acid may actually aid in overcoming insulin resistance, rewduce appetite, provided the rest of Joels diet recommendations are followed ie high volume nutrient dense vegs fruits, beans etc.
Fuhrman calls it "moderate micronutrients intake" not excess oils, butters etc. It is all about basil metabolic homeostasis needing balance clear of deficiencies or excesses
Great info, making the excess sweating stop within 2 days was so much more than I expected, I went with what I talked about last week and after the first day or so I was very surprised to start feeling much more comfortable and dry! I went ahead and go'ogled Cynthia Yulesin’s Stop Sweating Today and after 72 hours I now sweat like a “normal” person lol
What about getting enough protein? Please discuss that more
Don’t worry about it because you will get enough protein especially if you add beans to your salad or soups. Plants have protein. In fact, protein is created by plants. Animals do not make protein. Have you ever known anyone who has been protein deficient?
Wow what an intro. The explanation right off the bat on the health slide is what I needed to hear to get rid of the last of my excess weight thanks to the old me and SAD way of eating.
Just got Dr. Fuhrman's book, Eat for Life. He's the Best! So grateful for his teachings. 🙂🙏♥️🌱
Does treating someone’s AS with a dmard improve their heart/valve aortopathy disease? Any data on this? Does controlling AS with just NSAIDs,such that they’re asymptomatic without back pain, prevent heart disease?
Hello , thank you for this great presentation. How I can have access to this information? Do you have a copy of the PDF or PowerPoint? Please advise?
You can find the slides here: staabsymposium.com/presentations/
Im. Following the Furhman plan and doing fantastic... But started with RA.... Im hopeful this can be sent into remission like my type 2 diabetes after loosing 35 lbs!... Yay
How are u now
I am living it! My lab values is the proof besides daily high energy and immunity!
I saw a lot of reviews from different people around the world, about Dr Igudia who cured their Type 2 Diabetes and I contacted Dr Igudia on his CZcams channel and his herbs cured mine too.
Question: so what if everyone eats this way? Will we have enough food to go around?? I’m concerned 😕
If everybody ate this way, we would have more food available because we wouldn't be using all that farmland to grow crops for livestock animals.
@@Mark_Wheeler Exactly 💯
Its much cheaper and easier and less resource-intensive to farm plants rather than animals. Extremely sustainable and good for the environment.
Love your passion and how you explain things. Thank thank you!!🎉
I’m still in detox mode but starting to feel good. Wanting to lose weight and stop cholesterol meds. 66 yrs old. And feeling hopeful!!
Thank you Dr Fhurman 🙏 I would love to meet you and join a class in person in your retreat, but I can't afford it. Your podcasts encourage me to keep trying eating as healthy as I possibly can, but I know that I have an addictive personality, and my struggles with food are overwhelming. You help me and a lot of people around the world. Thank you 🙏
I will keep you in my prayers. You got this!
Awesome information!!!!
Fantastic. His passion and commitment is infectious !!!
What about fish oil supplements and red rice yeast..my doc just said to take to help lower cholesterol
Eat plants
@@kate60 Yes 👍
Flax seeds and chia seeds can replace fish oils to supply your omega 3s.
Eat low carb!!!!!!!!
The only concern I have is as I can't afford to always buy organic, would eating big portions of salads would injust pesticides into our body
I wash my lettuce in baking soda, even if ii says organic. 1 tbs to the water let it sit in the water for 5 minutes and rinse
Eat plants. Organic where possible. You will be fine
Grow some of your own food .. it's really not that hard .. and pray over your food.
I buy frozen organic greens and make smoothies. Sometimes frozen is cheaper than fresh and that might make organic more attainable for you.
I use ozone to degrade the pesticides in veg and some fruit like grapes so get a ozone generator to clean your veg its done in water for about 15 -30 mins
20:20 You mention that we are getting more access to more variety of plants to eat but it's also true that as we get more variety we are also getting sicker as a society?
Wrong. Food as grown in variety. Fruit, veg, rice, beans, lentils. Processed chemical factory fast junk is not good or variety. Eat ingredients.
@@kate60 Sorry you missed the point, those are all bad. I only eat animals.
@@Meathead-10810 .. No, you have been brainwashed to the selfish diet (caring only about yourself and nothing about what happens to other creatures). "You reap what you sow" .. sow death into your body, you will age faster and stink of death .. put living plants into your body, you are sowing life and energy.
Huh? Sorry James but definitely missed the point lol
We're getting sicker because we are not eating more vegetables
So interesting. Thank you.
Great advice !
Dr. Fuhrman, I want to thank you for leading me in the fight direction. I can truely see how you have helped me while recovering from bladder cancer, Afib, and colon cancer. You truely do have some good advice for people. Thank you
Fight??

According to Dr David Sinclair, Resveratal is very important for longevity. He is the leading expert on longevity
Dr Sinclair is trying to put chemicals on the market, he wants the fda to approve things that the public has to buy. When a man wants you to live to 150 years don't you smell a rat. He was off the yt for a while, in which people have been very critical of things he had to say.
No one super nutrient. Eat plants in variety
Awsome,

Just another bad anti vaping video. Look at my link for the facts
What about the statistics 2020 and 2021😆 leave that out for your story. And how many would otherwise smoke? Nothing about the smokers? Nothing about at least 95% safer than smoking and on the cancer level 99% safer. Working 2 times better than traditional quiting methode. According to the royal college of physicians uk. Helps smokers to quit. If vapes get promoted and ragulated it could save millions of lives. This woman is clearly paid by anti vape organisations to tell this bad story.
