I'm a bit late, but after 5 years I'm finally starting to come around on this belt! I hated it for years, then they replaced it with a near identical version with tacky side plates added on recently, and now I'm appreciating the original a lot more. You don't appreciate what you have until it's gone sometimes.

I have the ultra deluxe version of the wwe version of the big gold. It’s one of 500 made I think back in 2005. It’s my favorite belt and the heaviest around 10 pounds atleast.

Out of curiosity, how much does Classic Shields charge for that Big Gold. I’m a bigger fan of the older belts and NWA/WCW as well. My goal is to get all the WWF belts from 1986 and NWA belts from 1989.

My all time favorite belt growing as a kid in the 80’s and i been wanting this belt for a long time and wwe had a wwf version before but the side bars was never attached like it is now. Also it was 2 mm but they made a master series with the side bars attached to the main plate but it was also screwed to the strap as well, but the asking price was $1500 which i couldn’t afford. But i’m glad they fixed it made it the right way but without the f unfortunately 😢, but i’m cool with that. If you don’t mind me asking how much did you pay for it and how long was the wait time?

Good to see you back. If I ever had one of these big golds, I'd definitely get the trophy style Bret Hart name plate to go on it. His run with the belt was lackluster but I see him as the overall best to ever hold the crumrine.

For all the people who said is 2.5 years waiting I got some news for you. Lately CS are getting better on the wait times. I order a 3D big gold cast in late February and got it last week June 21. I been in touch with them and they told me that now wait times are 6 months except for the Crumrines, those are takes longer. For me the wait worth it. The trick is not bother them asking for updates and stuff like that and let them work. I’ll promise you’ll got a great product. Excellent belts brother.

Would you say it was worth the 2 and a half year wait? I think an all gold winged eagle, or funny enough a Vegas Big Gold, are just about the only belts I'd wait that long for, but man, the premium is so beautiful.
