It's the last SC Bass event of the year. I launched from Baker's Creek Boat Ramp on Clarks Hill Lakewith the last cahnce to qualify for the SC State Championship on the line. I could get jumped, I could make it, I need to go out and catch fish to make sure it happens.

Yehah man, I went into thick of it. I am the worst at not hitting the rec button for sure. I just need to get better at it. I like it when I am catching fish but I just cannot do it consistently.
I don't care much for stained water. Glad you had some success.
I like a little stain to clear, just because I struggle in this stuff. I hear it's the best way to find good size fish though.

Everything is extremely RED & now turn into Blister & it hurts really really bad to walk . My toes red & blisters up & I can't be touched by anything at all . I had to take my flip flops 🩴 & turn them upside-down to over my feet 🦶 & toes from the sun & I even was use Sunscreen & sunblock too & still go burn . My wife wants me to go to the Dr to get look at . But I hurts so bad & I can't even go to work because I am in so much pain man but I gad a good time on my Kayak camping 🏕 trip . You should do some kayak camping 🏕 man .

One time on the trip I said PFD & I wasn't talking to him & Jack ran to my kayak & pick up his PFD & came back to me with it & everyone was laughing . It's an amazing place. You guys should camp up this way. Tugalo is just above and has a bunch of camp spots.

I have always shared everything on this channel as I learn it. Despite my pivot into competitive fishing, that hasn't changed. I know I am giving away lures that work before an event, but I haven't changed. I want everybody to catch fish, and if something I share puts one in the boat or helps them win using something I learned, that's worth more than a plaque.

Hartwell will eventually be overan with small spots just like Russell & Clark's Hill is starting to get worse. Russell is horrible for small little clone spotted bass! I haven't been to Hartwell yet. I've only been live down here a while, my 3rd summer so I'm still exploring. I fish Murray more often now & ton of smaller lakes. I'd rather catch 1 big largemouth of bunch of small spots anyday! But I don't fish tournaments either. Nothing more fun than being out on water in kayak fishing. This is my 10th year & I enjoy as much if not more than when I started...
There are a lot now for sure. Really without going up to super stained areas, spots are just part of now. There are big spots in there too, but you are right. Really your small lakes like Broadway, Cunningham, Bowen, etc; are the best for large mouth IMO. People sleep on them but they are tightly regulated and not over run with spots.
