Ever wondered how the Auto Light switch in some Casio watches works. It's pretty simple. There is a little metal ball in a plastic case. In rest it is down a little slope. When you twist your arm towards you, that ball rolls to the top of the slops. There are two contacts at the top of the slope, so when the ball is at the top, the circuit is closed and the light turns on.

I have that. Love the color
I love seeing how happy Ibe is. Not just happiness but pride and achievement. He worked so hard and made one of the most amazing products in the world, a true icon. In many ways, the best watch in the world. Personally I enjoy the basic 5600 and the Frogman the most.
Take note! That is a Casio GW-5000 model, the premium and Japan Made gshock. I think the regular DW-5600 series cannot withstand those tests.

I have the dw-610 and am waiting for my 620 to arrive in the mail. My only complaint with the 610(and I imagine in the 620 as well)is the little guy shows up only when the backlite is on,and the backlite will only stay on for 1.5 seconds even if I hold the button down. So he never fully completes his animation,which is kinda the thing that makes it special

It's kind of scary to think how much more durable G-Shock is than a human body, so basically whatever you do, the watch will most likely outlive you if you always keep it on your wrist..
In my country Casio brand is kinda luxury watch. even if it's a G-shock.
