I’m an older punk missing Jay Reatard, but knew he was our Iggy Pop when I saw that show at Fallout Records. Before this band even existed, but they would cover him and he would do the same and there’s nothing pretentious about either’s interpretation, but they are masterful all the same!
Because I'm Japanese, I can't hear these lyrics. But I can understand beautiful and hurts these songs. And tears flow quietly. and others. That's the great thing about their music.
