an instrumental of my friend of misery would’ve been legendary. the chorus of this song does not fit at all. they could’ve leaned more to the “gloomy” intro riff vibe and made it a masterpiece of instrumental. sad

I would love a band consisting of Jason on bass and John5 on guitar, Dave Grohl on vocals, and I am not yet sure about the rest of the personnel, but the band should be named "The Good Guys" - because they are. Kind, talented, caring about the fans, not drunk or on drugs all the time, etc. These people were always in it for the MUSIC.

@jason this rhythm was too good to not be in a song. Especially on a song in one of the greatest albums ever. I’m very thankful it wasn’t because this song is in my top 5 of Metallica songs dare I say. What you said about the taking of other artists and put it into your own style is absolutely genius. Your an amazing bass player not only for your talent but your perception and outlook on the instrument and its core of of how it makes a band. Thank you for your years and times!
