The smog pump pulls in unfiltered air and blows it into the cat, thats what mine did, does nothing to improve combustion, it pretty much is to trick the damn emission test probe the EPA puts in the tail pipe, serves no other purpose, tho some idiot will declare it helps the environment, they likely support DEF AKA piss in diesel exhaust!

Use a car alternator then charge batteries and run an inverter. Also use something to apply tension to the chain.

I totally want the NA motor for a 350 high roof extended camper build. Ecoboost is way more complicated and I want to keep it for a long time. Do you think a NA motor would be fine? The Ram Promaster extended high roof has the same horsepower and I never hear vanlifer's say its a slug. People w Ecoboost motors love the power but they also sell before it gets higher milage. Thanks for your opinion.

I've realized that I don't give a fuck about anything basic when it comes to cars. Where other people are enthusiastic, I don't give a shit. Like washing my car, detailing, dealing with wheels and tires, replacing wiper blades, brakes. I fucking don't care. I will put my heart and soul into serious work, but I couldn't care less about the simpleton basics. I laugh at my dumb ass neighbor when he goes out to wash his car weekly. It's the only thing he can do. I bet he thinks he's real cool when he takes it into the tire shop too.

the pulley on the wheel side should be almost as large as the waterwheel with the chain going to the drive pulley around 3in diam. I am guessing 24ft around your big wheel stepped to a 3in pulley would give you about 3000 rpm om the motor side upping your amps and volts out. By placing a spring -loaded tension cog on your chain should take the play out as it goes around the cog. I would take the buckets off and place 3 or four simple flat plates with a 3inch lip welded or bolted to the frame to give you more surface area on the paddles for water to hit. .
