For the daytime running lights i think they stay on if the car is in drive, if the car is in park you can turn the lights button up and that should turn it off, you could try it while driving and see if it works too

whatever you don't know what it mean go read your Owners Manuel, everything is in there that you need to know.

I am happy with my 2023 K5 GT Line all wheel drive. The heated seats and heated steering wheel are standard in this model. and it is nice to have that. I think they are optional in the front wheel drive model. You should be able to find a good independent shop to change your oil but make sure you use full synthetic and the right viscosity and keep records for your warranty

I’m from Cleveland, Ohio and I’m so tired of my business not growing because people “know” me. It doesn’t matter how good I am they don’t care. I’m tired of seeing the same people & the negativity here. I just feel like there’s way more out here .

The first thing I did when I drove my ‘23 K5 GT-Line home was go into the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) items menu and set every “automatic” option to my preference - off. No auto braking, no bells dinging when someone in front of you slows down to turn onto a side street, etc. You have total control over those preferences. As for the oil changes, you can buy just the $13 oil filter at the dealer’s parts dept. and watch any of the many youtube videos here on it and change the oil yourself (or convince a friend to do it !😉). It’s not hard, you just have to buy Kia’s oil filter. You’re right that the dealerships way overcharge, and some even fail to do it right. My biggest pet peeve is that you can’t get out and lock the doors if the engine is running! In cold weather your only option is to shut it off, get out and lock it and then use the key fob to remote start it again. That’s loony. Otherwise - enjoy your K5 - you have to admit - it’s really a great car!

I got the exact same whip 23… same color and interior color.. the thing I dislike most is the fact that the ambient lighting doesn’t exist at least not until the 2025 is out.. and that’s just shameful. My brother had a 22 stinger gt and that car is cool but idk… the k5 looks better imo plus the pano sunroof makes it 10x better. Kia headed in the right direction

I had the 2022 K5 and then the 2023 K5 GT-Line. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay were both wireless. Loved them. The 2022 suffered a totaled accident 3 days after I purchased it from a driver who had her face buried in her phone.

I’m sorry I feel like I’m late af to this video, I got a 2023 k5 EX, I do agree Kia charges a lil too much for the oil change which is why I learned to do mine and just pay $50 for all the parts I need, to turn off the daytime light you gotta put on the parking break on too, also the EX trim brings cooling and heating seats

She needs to understand she can turn those features off
