Nice attempt on Antisana, especially given the conditions! Did you cross the crux of huge crevasses around 5400 m. or did you follow a different route? I climbed and skied Antisana (unfortunately no summit either) in December 2022 and it looked completely different. It could be due to the conditions but hard to imagine since the difference is really huge.
Yes we navigated a very intense crevasse field. Ecuador had a very long dry spell leading up to our attempt so the mountain was in rotten condition:(
Excuse me, I must clean here.
Now try this on an old pair of straight GS skis like we did back when. THAT was deep! oh, and breath into your jacket to avoid the frosties!
Jesus Loves You Brother
Im 13 and i can do that
Looks good my g
Why were you walking up in ski's in the beginning? Do those have barbs on them? Wouldn't it be easier in boots or crampons so you don't slide back? (I have no knowledge of mountain climbing so sorry for dumb question)
We put climbing skins on the bottom of our skis so we can walk uphill without the skis sliding. Much more efficient than snowshoeing or cramponing on mellow terrain. Less efficient once it gets steep
Ballsack
When google maps tells you there is traffic ahead.
Omg I just died laughing
I always use google maps and it’s so true 😂😂😂😂
Looks good man too many haters on the feed lol
You certainly had a fab season! Thanks for sharing it. I can't wait for next season (even if it's only a couple of weeks in the Alps / Dolomites for us plebs in the UK 😅) 🙏🏼
Thanks! Fingers crossed for another snowy winter in europe next season!
Going to ski here in a couple months once things soften up a bit
In a couple months it will be too late
@@seamus.dolan98 I don’t think so buddy.
@@Summit_Seeker are you seriously going to try to argue with me about when a line will be good again? How well did that work for you the first time…
@@seamus.dolan98 I have skied the grunge. don’t you think I’d know how conditions act by now
@@Summit_Seeker actually, quite the opposite
Way to crush it this season man.
Thanks a lot!
Sick!
Thank you!!!
Dude, you really get after it! Thanks for sharing the high quality footage
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words!
Damn, I watched that start to end no skipping, not sped up. Done for the season or few more lines??
Hey! I’m done going for bigger lines this season. Alta still has 10’ of snow so I’ll be doing ski tours there for another month or so. But just chill tours the rest of the season for me
I now live through you. Ty
Pussy, point em downhill and go.
let em run...
I can’t wait to do this
Sick!
Thanks!
Awesome!!!
Dope!!
nice link up!
Thanks!
Went to Utah back in 85,road trip went to Alta, park city, but Snowbird was my favorite what a mountain!
Epic.
Thanks!
Perfect 🌽
bad snow but good times!
Yo thanks for taking us along with you on the adventure! Definitely hoping to hike Desert Peak this summer once the snow melts off!
Definitely would be a good summer hike!
Tried for this a few weekends ago. After triggering multiple small slabs we bailed from doing the twins. Nice work!
Beautiful..Where?
Awesome. Hope you enjoy many more beautiful days skiing in great conditions.
Awesome as always (despite the snow!) 🔥🙏🏼
What would you expect this time of year in utah. Good season has come and gone.
Did it just wink at me. 🤔
What was the approach to the peak?
Started in alpine. 4 hours to the summit. We skied almost 100% of the route, not possible at this point this season
I’m doing this is may? How long did it take you to summit?
Took me 4ish hours to summit. But I backcountry ski A LOT. So I’m in extremely good shape. Whatever your comfortable vert per hour is, use that to estimate your time and add an extra hour cuz you’ll slow down as you get higher in altitude
@@seamus.dolan98 I'm in Utah and skin up several times a week, but my vert per hour looks slower than yours. I'm just trying to determine the best time to decend for optimal conditions. I can then backward calculate when I need to head out. So if you left around 6am you were descending by 10am ish?
@@KevinTame we took a long lunch break at the top and I think we descended sometime after 11am. I can’t remember off the top of my head what time we descended, but SW aspect I’d recommend descending between 11am and noon
You forgot your snorkel!
haha I know! I was choking on snow!
A male mountaineer who listens to tay swift? That is a RARE phenomenon. Anyways, nice deadlift bro!
Hahahaha
Taylor swift? You can do better
Hater

Got loads in the tank. Get 485 on there
Made it look easy! Hell yeah man 💯
Hell yea

How was this made :0
Grow a pair and send it, a little snow never killed anyone. Ask a school nurse.
Where is that?
Heavens Halfpipe on Lone Peak in Utah

@@prolifikent8566 yes. It is
Awesome stuff as always! I'm living vicariously through your videos until next season... 😅🙏🏼
Love to see it dude
Thanks!
