Had a guy checking out female DIs, he was ordered to go and ask one out on a date while formation waited 😂 Same guy, just zoning out, DI stated grabbing pinecones and tossing them yelling "grenade!" after ordering him to "save his platoon" - by diving on the "grenade" - full on belly flopping, then "oh, must've been a dud!" like 7 times in a row

Getting annoyed at your kid being slower than you in doing things or being picky Like I'm sorry that I don't have as much experience as you to the point where I don't have to think and can just do something automatically. I'm sorry for having different taste buds than you, allow me to exchange them in the nearest supermarket Also: NOT GIVING CHILDREN S3X EDUCATION This is SO IMPORTANT. I don't even mean when they turn 13. I mean TEACH THEM FROM KINDERGARTEN. In an age appropriate way of course but imagine just how many children would be saved if they were taught that these things need to be consented to by two adults and shouldn't be done until adulthood! Teach your kids about their body(no more calling intimate places "cookies" and crap how do you expect your child to report to a trusted teacher if they don't know the correct name?), consent and boundaries! This could literally lower the amount of teen pregnancies and s3xual activity among teens (which can really mess them up) and save so many children yet people refuse to even explain the difference between romantic and platonic love to kids because "they're too young"..

I know English and Spanish. Spanish is my native language but I mainly speak, listen and read English on the internet, so whenever I play a game with people that speak Spanish, I act as if I don't understand what they're saying to me. I do my best to put an english or american accent and listen to them. Sometimes they know English too and are so kind to "translate"! But it wouldn't be the first time they try to tell me a certain bad word means a good word like your usual "pendejo" (idiot) meaning "good looking" or things like that. It's actually quite funny to follow along and just never tell them they're actually speaking to a Spanish man. If they go too far then I do tell them "Hey, I can understand you" in Spanish, but usually it's just silly things.

On Feb 14, 1984, I was 14 years old, and I was moving from New Jersey to Florida. I was leaving all my friends, my school, my hometown to a place I didn't want to go. When I got to Florida, I entered a deep depression. I was homesick. I had no friends to confide in. I hated my new school. Needless to say, when I first transferred from an out of state school, I had no idea what was going on because I wasn't there. My English teacher passed out some worksheets, but mine was so light and blurry, I couldn't read it. She told me to read the question and answer it. I said I couldn't because the copy was too light for me to read. She didn't believe me and started berating me. Another girl next to me lent me hers, so I could read the question. The question was about a book I had never read. I told her I didn't know the answer because I never read the book. "I don't know what kind of school or town you came from, but it must've been low class." "At least my low class town and school has got more class than you've got." I walked out of class, crying and went to the office. I got suspended for telling off the teacher, but my mom stood up for me. She blew up when my English teacher started with the same shit. "How the fuck do you expect her to know what a book was about when she was in different state following an entirely different curriculum? She should be excused from this assignment or be given the book so could actually read it and then answer the questions correctly."

17:40 The line is interacting with the subject to get something from them. There is absolutely nothing illegal about following someone all day every day and documenting what they do within public view. The line to stalking or harassing is crossed when you then use that to intimidate, extort, coerce, or interfere, or when you record them in a place where there is a legal expectation of privacy. You are recorded and surveilled all day every day by countless systems, agencies, and organizations.

Here in Brasil, people who stop for you to cross in the crosswalk are just way better educated than most. And when it comes to motorcicles, be sure to watch out even if you are on the sidewalk, there's some crazy people who disregard the safety of anyone just to get wherever faster.

I rejected a guy in high school and he proceeded to tell everyone we were dating even his family. He showed up at mutual friends houses when I was there. We would just play video games or talk to just each other with him around. No one wanted to tell him off and be mean. But then he showed up at my house multiple times. So one day he called me and I lied and told him I cheated on him (not even in a relationship 😅) he proceeded to scream at me and told me we were over. He left me alone after that.

10:50 CRA= I waited 2 hours to be told that the letter sent saying my dead father's account has extra money must've been sent before the CRA applied whatever formula they used to determine he no longer owed money because i sent in the difference 2 MONTHS prior and the tax return info was just what they sent me sent back to them after being entered into a tax software. Confused? I sure am. I'm not sure what to do about it though as i used my tax refund to pay the debt they say my father owed and then 2 months later is a 'hey that money you gave is all extra that will just sit on your dead dad's account for him to use on his next tax return'. At least that's how i understood to letter and again, he's dead so that was the final return. But after 2 hours of waiting i get some patronizing baby voiced lady saying "oh im so sorry for your loss-" after knowing ive been waiting and hes already been dead half a year so can we get this part over with since you claim that there's so many people calling in months after the tax deadline and thus my wait! Also, my Mom's email account was locked and because she used her non-text recieving landline as her recovery number i have to go through a form that continuously states Microsoft doesn't have enough info to verify us as the account holder because neither of us know/remember the last 5 emails she sent and to whom! Microsoft tech agents have no means to access her account either!

And, as another user said, treating ADHD and autism like they're controllable, which got me sent to a class for bad kids where said restraint techniques were used. Needless to say, I hated school, and never skipping remains my greatest regret.

I completely agree with the person who said that you have to still live your life even if you’re disabled disabled isn’t dead. Disabled people still walk they still need to get groceries and counter to peoples beliefs They don’t just hand out helpers to do everything for you. You might be able to film what somebody’s doing, but you cannot ascertain how much pain they’re in because they did that. It’s a big difference when one is bringing groceries one it’s a human necessity to eat food and one has spent five hours shopping at the mall for fun. The latter could suggest someone is exaggerating their claim but there are also conditions that ween and wane sometimes daily - sometimes people have a few good weeks or months out of a year. For example, somebody with bipolar disorder could be stable for six months at a time and during that time they look normal they’re acting normal. They physically appear normal to everybody, but once every six months, they have a flareup where they end up being institutionalized so how are you going to work a job get a new job every six months because no one’s gonna hold your job while you’re at a mental institution. And there’s no telling how long it’s going to take medication treatment to get stable that could be three months and if you haven’t been at a job longer than a year, guess what all those protections don’t apply to you yet. With all of my various disabilities, there are some days that I can’t even get off of the couch and there are some days where I would be able to spend a few hours at an amusement park. The problem is I don’t have enough good days or good hours that could translate into a job having four good hours on Tuesday and three good hours on Friday and six hours on Saturday doesn’t do much for you if you can’t plan those days are going to be. A job has a schedule they need you specific time and they need you to stay there until a specific time. There’s no way to sync up one’s random few good hours in a week with what a job requires. And then if it’s a bad day when you wake up and it’s a workday, you can’t make it to work and as soon as you can’t make it to work once or twice, especially as a new employee who hasn’t been working there very long you’re getting fired. It’s not just about being able to about being able to consistently work because you can only work once a week or once every two weeks and the amount of time that you’re actually able to be productive is only 10 hours a week. There’s no job in the world you can do that’s gonna make enough money for you to survive in ten hours that allows you to work those hours whenever you’re feeling up to it.

If anyone is in a similar situation to the OP where the grandpa has a missing sibling, you could suggest a DNA ancestry test so that you could see what specific regions your family is from. I know that 2 companies at the point definitely show that, there may be others. I got my grandmother on my dad's side to do one of the tests and I'm the admin of her DNA, which lets me see her relatives that have also taken the test. I wish I had been able to have my mom's parents tested too, but they passed before I was born/when I was little. As an aside, don't forget to talk with your loved ones! You never know how long you'll have with each other. <3

It was because of Therapists that I've been on SSRI's since I was 13. Which utterly ruined my mental health and has left me unable to depend on myself. I would probably die of starvation because I just don't want to put in the effort to continue existing. Which is so f'ing sad you have no clue. Its an utter lack of desire to exist. And because of that, no therapist wants to see me because I don't want to improve. Meaning my access to the medicine that THEY addicted to me is going to run out soon. (Not that I want to ever go back and see any sort of doctor again)

That story about the person who reported the person on benefits makes me angry. Because even though all of those people sitting in that room must’ve seen that video and they knew that the video showed somebody who was struggling to walk and get back into their house. Yet they intentionally took screenshots of the video picking out the images that looked as though the person were looking at person running and then tried to present that at hearing as proof that the person was not disabled. This happens all the time in this country and if there isn’t some lawyer there who can recognize that these are screenshots people who literally their life depends on their benefits because if they don’t get their medication, they will cease to live anymore are kicked off all the time because of stuff like this. The government will twist whatever evidence they have to try to make it paint the picture the picture they wanted to paint of someone who’s perfectly capable that they don’t have to pay. They’re not using deceptive, shady, ethical methods to get a persons benefits, denied, or taken away who really deserve it. If the people who were doing these types of investigations were ethical, then they would’ve come back to the government agency that controls this I’m not in the UK so it doesn’t apply to me the same and I followed him, but I didn’t see anything that we could use every time he coming out of his house he’s struggling he’s propping himself up. He’s limping. If anything, the evidence I’ve collected is only going to booster the other side. But they will see somebody who literally can’t walk and try to pick out clips second and time where it appears that they’re walking normally so that they can go back to their employer and go. I got this one. Of course it’s not just that the investigators are on ethical, but the whole process itself is really on ethical. Because these investigators go out and they don’t come back with so called dirt for the client to use then these government agencies will fire them and higher somebody else who comes up more often claiming that they have evidence that will get the government off of paying. They do the investigators they do that with the doctors that they used to independently supposedly independently verify your ailments. If that doctor doesn’t find enough people faking Will lose their job because they work for the government and the government doesn’t want to pay benefits so if they hire a Doctor Who says that like 80% of the people who sent to him or disabled, he’s gonna quickly lose his job. So you can see how this whole system is very much against the disabled person who is just trying to survive and eat and have a roof over their head. Essentially bribing their workers investigators claim reviewers, and doctors. And they’re not saying oh if you find this person disabled, we’re going to fire you but everyone is aware of the consequences when another provider approves too many cases. They’re not directly bribing for a particular outcome. I believe that this is still a form of bribery. and it’s even worse because this is the person form of employment. They need to survive on this money could be months before they get another job so they’re not gonna risk losing their job to find somebody disabled even if they truly are disabled.

I remember having a substitute teacher in grade... (one? two?) who believed that only boys misbehaved, and therefore only boys were subjected to a "three strike" system for any wrongdoing (three = written up for detention with main teacher the next day)

I’m almost positive that Story 49 is from an episode of The Office where Dwight and Toby mix up Darryl and his sister.

My school was TERRIBLE with dealing with bullying. They would always blame the victim for reacting / retaliating; claiming that they should have "just ignored" them. It's taken me years to unlearn that it was my fault that I was being targeted by the people who bullied me.

Okay the thing about antibiotic immune bacterias is worrying me. I'm not a diligent person and is always forgetting to eat my meds, I have felt that some medicine doesn't work on me like it used to. I'm surely going for a mental diagnosis someday because there's no way a default person forgets this easily this much

school time taking much of your day is not equivalent to work doing the same because it's children. children (and yes, those teenagers are still not adults no matter how much you want them to be) need more rest. not to mention learning something new vs. doing a baseline roughly the same every day is entirely different for your brain too.
