My house that was built in 1964 has the same ironing board but-in. I love it and I would build that in a new house.
Justin, would like to contact you to get some advice on putting my Williams 16”gristmill back in service. If this possible could I have your email address please.
Hey it is justcalf@gmail.com
Thank you for sharing this. I asked you in a later video how to do this now I know. 😊
Hope it helps!
How do you save your tomato seeds for replanting?
I shared that 🙂
I always enjoy hearing about the good all days. I’ve heard some say what much good about the good all days because all you ever had was hard work. But you had a good peace of mind not like today.
Allis is adorable, brings back memories. Thank you for sharing. thanks for the information about the tree leaves, I’ve never heard that before
Will this work for muscadine?
I don’t see why not..
Good to see ya brother. Hope you all are well I took a break from the youtube for a bit just too much to do. Enjoyed video. Take care
I’ve enjoyed your videos every time I’ve watched one
Thank you!
❤
❤️
I have these bearing still in original packaging from when my granddad worked for the babbit company in the 60 and 70s.
Thats great!
I just made these pickles. Did you say how long you need to let them sit before eating? TIA
We have after 2 weeks
Just now found this video upon other recommendations. Can’t wait to try this recipe out. One question I do have is all my pickles are stored in the fridge so I’m curious if they need to be room temp before we start the pickling process.
Yes ai would so that they don’t cool too fast. I pack them in the jars and put all in the oven to heat
Was sure hopping you was in Tennessee would love to get a jar
Thank you!
Hi Justin, My name is Victoria. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I'm new to your channel, like today new😊 I've been watching several of your videos, and I am enjoying them very much. I truly was blessed by the song. I definitely remember that old hymn they are the best, in my opinion. I really wanted to watch the church service, but I don't see the link in the description box. Did I miss it somehow? Please advise. Blessing Victoria
Hey Victoria, thank you for sharing. I hope it was a blessing. I could not share the link for some reason. The title is in the video. Thank you and bless you as well
@@metcalfmills5679 Thank you!!! Enjoy this beautiful Sunday🕊✝️👑
@metcalfmills5679 The name of the church is really big😂 Not sure how I missed that. I must have looked away I usually have my tablet sitting on the kitchen counter while I'm doing stuff and just listen, looking up occasionally unless it's something I actually need to watch. Sorry you had to respond when it wasn't necessary..Oops 😁
Thank for that tutorial. I thoroughly enjoyed and learned a lot
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful place of history
Glad that you enjoyed!
I love your videos. Watching the older ones too
Thank you!
Every recipe I have seen cans the pickled beans and corn in the brine. Why do you choose not to? Just wondering. Thanks!
How long before you can eat em after canning?
We have opened after about 2 weeks
@@metcalfmills5679 Oh boy am I excited. I only made 2 jars, (city living), but they both sealed up. Thank you so much!
I don’t understand what the moon has to do with pickling beans, but I’ll listen.
It all works together 🙂
Looks like bad technique. Is this how it's supposed to be done? I mean it seems to get the job done.
Whatever feels good to the user is correct, thank you!
Thank u for sharing....looks great...
Hope it helps!
Glad you take the time and care to share your upbringing and your family history as well. May God Bless and Keep You and Yours
Thank you!
It's good to see you Justin. Thank you for another informative and enjoyable video. I hope you and the girls are doing well.
Thanks brother! We are good and hope that you are as well!
I think this project can be done. You would be the person to do it.
Thank you! 🙂
May our Lord bless and keep you and yours always. That’s what my Dad always said: All you got to do is Believe
Amen! Thank you🙏🏻❤️
You are gifted. Proud of you
I humbly thank you
Can you use this recipe for sliced cucumbers also?
Yes
oh my! Jason is one fine hunk of man
Who’s Jason???
That’s a meal that can’t be beat. Looks delicious 😊
It sure is good
I am so sorry for your loss. Our parents cannot be replaced. I’m glad of my memories. I enjoyed your video. I will share it with my son, he has had trouble with deer and rabbits in his garden. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much. Hope it helps.
I love this song. It's always been a blessing to me also. You did a great job singing it too
It’s amazing. How some little something (like a washer) could fix the problem
A lot of times it is so simple..
That sure is Pretty. I have two pans a large one for company a small one for just us. Seeing all them beans in your silver pan. I think I would string beans from my large pan and string beans from my small pan. So I could just take the string of beans that I need to cook.
I’ve never tried pickled green beans, but I would like to. Could I ask where did you find your almanac calendar? I have not seen one of them in years.
I sure wish I had come across your videos sooner. They are very helpful. I can’t hardly stop watching them.
Thank you so much!

Serbian old variety of maize white eight. 🇷🇸☦️
Holman's Homestead and Celebrating Appalachia both recommended your pickles. Looking forward to trying out your recipe.
Why not just use the hand plow instead of the cart-pulled plow in the beginning?
Lord I love this it brings back so many memories and good memories I would rather eat dried beans than anything sooooo good I do this every year enjoy every video of yours I’m new to your channel and I’m so happy I found you have a great day and keep canning and putting up good food and awesome videos
Welcome back! 😊
Soooo glad to see you again. This old lady has learned a lot from you!!! Wish I had the old tools like you have saved.
Made your pickles last year and they turned out great 👌 thank you. Making more this year 😁 thanks again.
Happy to see you
