This is Cal O'ween is a channel focused on providing doable, affordable costume ideas to young or old, men, women and children of varying body types. I will show you how I do Halloween on a budget, and share with you the best make up to use and how to apply it. In addition, this channel is about travel, museums, marvels and mysteries. I love to tour cemeteries and haunted places and I have an insatiable appetite for history. Being a culinarian, I always include the best places to eat during our travels. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoy creating this content for all of you.

Today we will be visiting Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo NY. This Stunning Historic cemetery is celebrating 175 years this year. Established in 1849 it is the final resting place of many Buffalo congressmen, Mayor's and politicians. Famous people buried here include Rick James and Kristen Pfaff ( a Bassist) formerly of the band Hole from 93 to 94.

Awe...yes, I'm planning to bring one to Lucy's gravesite when I visit her this week. I'll also be visiting the original super freak , Rick James' laid to rest in Buffalo's Forrest Lawn Cemetery. I plan to visit 3 Cemeteries in upstate New York. Don't worry, I'm taking you with me.

Just Subbed 👍 I live in Inverness & have made a couple short videos at this cemetery. The first video I made there shows the mausoleum before it was repaired with the shiny black & had white marble & was in bad condition.

I just stumbled across this video. I grew up in Delhi (pronounced Del-High not Delhi like in India), used to ride my bike as a child in the mid '60's up on Delhi Pike. We would stop at Huenefeld's market and buy an apple for a snack. I had no idea the family was involved in all the commercial stuff - I thought they were just a farmer family on the Pike. Will have to check further into this! Nice video of a local cemetery.

Hey Mattie, It just dries . I do Recommend getting either Ben Nye Final Seal or Mehron Barrier Spray for longer non transferable wear.

The "Hanging Munchkin" is not true. 100% false. What people see is an exotic bird. The studio used several for this scene, and they are barely visible in the final cut. Also, the "meeting the Tin Man" scene was filmed about three months before the Munchkin actors arrived at the studio. The costume you made is nothing short of outstanding. Brilliant job! I remember an old interview with Jack Haley where he said the costume was made out of leather. Been trying to find the interview for years... I saw it when it was originally broadcast.

I have several family members buried in this cemetery. My great grandmother died in early 1950's. During a genealogy search, I discovered my great grandmother had never had a cemetery marker to mark her grave and after approximately 60 years, I attempted to have a simple granite marker set for her. After dealing with the people who run this cemetery, I wouldn't bury my dog there.
If I did this, I will not be painting myself. I don’t think that’s necessary for what I want to do.

Not long at all, very easy. You'll just need time for your spray paint and other crafted items to dry which only takes maybe 1/2 an hour to an hour. Thank you for watching.

Can I be honest with you? I’m very concerned that this beautiful woman and her sweet demeanor is messing with some really risky occultism / gothic spirituality. I used to be a very open and liberal humanist who was really critical of Christianity. I became a Christian in 1991 which you never would expect if you knew me in the 1980’s SF Bay Area. Please understand I think you are genuinely kind and fun to listen to. Please heave it in your heart some room for seriously accepting Jesus as these dark and delusional days are reaching the end. Nice one Cal! I did a cleanup recently in my area. We didn't have to do any landscaping thankfully, it was just cleaning headstones and grave markers. The Sexton sprayed everything with D2 and we came in and scrubbed them down. It continues to work afterwards because it's an enzyme. I found out about a full moon tour when I was doing the cleanup so I did that last week and learned a lot. If you're in West Palm check out Woodlawn Cemetery, thats where all this happened. I found a lady in there who lived to almost 113!
Wow, that is awesome. 113, what a life. The lady I met at this cemetery actually emailed me about a class they were going to have which teaches about the cleaning of headstones, it was a free workshop offered by friends of Crystal Memorial park. Unfortunately, I couldn't go because I was working, but I would love to do that some time.
why is that door handle so close to the door frame?? That looks like really bad design (a part of the frame already was cut out), it would annoy me every time I open and close the door. That's several times a day.
In the Apartment ? I think I noticed that too. My hand literally touches the door frame when I turn the knob..lol
