Caretaking two idiots who never learned how to work together, be functional, and have conversation and having to treat them like they’re divorced ON TOP of trying to give them “what they didn’t have” (conversation, material things, experiences, behavior, etc., even though THEY’RE the parents) is a hell I don’t wish on anyone. Arranged marriage can ONLY be successful with the things I mentioned (rites of passage, possession of life skills for both, some degree of basic education for both, marrying within your class, knowing how to communicate, to name a few things.)
