Are you going to be able to get all the Fat DADDY'S errors out of the paint?
Terry,U just purchased bandit tenders for 2020Honda Talon R. The front springs are not shorter than factory anymore. They are the same length,I set it at the same as factory preload 1.25inch. Does that sound right or do you know the new preload setting?
Sorry. I don’t know on the new springs.
Front length is the same length as factory springs
@@rickharper270 set it the same as the factory and see how it rides and how the ride height is once the springs are settled in. Adjust to your taste in ride quality and height from there.

Great job! I clicked on the video for enclosed trailer ideas, but i stayed for that beautiful chevy!
Thank you!
Where do i order the lights and battery from?
I would like to know what street tires you got for those rims
They are the Sunf flat track tires. here's a link on amazon. What I bought was 19x7-8 but those aren't listed any more. I see they have 20x7 -8 though. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N25SL6B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If this kit is used on a Live Valve what are the drawbacks? I see in the comments that there are two unused plugs on the factory harness from the eps motor. I assume one is a power plug and the other is maybe a steering angle sensor or something? I'm concerned this kit could cause issues with my Live Valve.
Sorry but I have zero experience with the live valves. I know there's been a considerable amount of talk on the Facebook groups about doing it but not sure if anyone actually has.
I just got a reply from Jamie at RaceCo which clears up my Live Valve specific questions. This info is probably limited to pre 2023 models. He says that his EPS kit will not interfere with the operation of Live Valve suspension as long as you leave the sensor on the rack and pinion, which i plan to do. Another vendor recommended RaceCo saying that the EPS is actually the same as SATVs but the shafts and U Joints are much higher quality and last longer.@terryhatfieldmin
@@stevelash5821 Jamie is a great guy and really knows these machines forward and backward. His kit definitely has higher quality shafts. The Super ATV stuff is comparable quality with the OE stuff. If I were racing I would certainly go with the Raceco. The Super ATV kit has been bulletproof for us.
front is 11inches and back is 12inches of ground clearance
If you're happy with it as is then just leave it alone. If that's close to the same as it was when you first did the springs you are fine. If not you can dial in a little more preload.
after the tender springs have a few hundred miles on them should the shocks be adjusted
Hate to be vague but maybe. Has the ride quality or the ride height changed over that time? If so then they probably do. If not then nothing more is needed.
Man .. that's nice ! My first car was a 1976 mustang cobra 2 dark blue with white stripes. I miss it ...😢
Thanks!
Can't wait to get another one
Man that is a sweet ride!!
Thank you!
The hinges were brand new.
There's a fella selling this car in my neighborhood for $7500. It needs a fuel tank but that's it. You did a marvelous job with this car. Well done. You've inspired me. It's sort of reminds me of the Ford Falcon from Mad Max.
Terry, on the new hand rail, did you use the third bracket hole? Wondering if there is backing or not?
I did use the 3rd hole. There is support for that in the trailer.
@@terryhatfieldmin awsome. Thanks
My dream car actually fastback 67 or AC cobra, but i see, its a beautiful car. For how much I can buy such a car now days?
Did you add extra legs to the flip over back portion to?
You certainly could but I did not.
Terry can you tell me the process of filling water in tank? I have a 2021 21 g i just bought and i read somewhere you got to pull a vent valve or something?? I see a valve under camper. Just want to be sure
Just push in the white valve levers under the trailer and set the levers in the wet bay to fill and start filling. The first will fill a little faster than the 2nd. These trailers are notorious for leaking water out the vent tubes when you are going down the road. Many of us used Shark Bite valves from the home center to stop that water loss from the blue vent lines. Very important to open those valves when filling and when using the tanks. Here's a link to another video where I show the valves and how they work. Lots of good info in the video but about 16 minutes in are the valves.
Ok. The "white valves" are the 1.5 " drain valves? Ya those should be closed for sure. I might end up doing shark bites and valves in future. I can see why u want those open while filling. Also the previous owner of my camper stated that he had trouble getting water into 2nd tank. He said he had to fill slow in order to get water into second tank?
@@fozzybear9114 The white valves are the drains. The Shark bite valves solve the 2nd tank fill issue. Once water comes out of the front Shark bite I close it and it helps to fill the 2nd tank.

What is that abomination on the hood?
Gorgeous. A lot of manufacturers sold their sports models with undersized wheels in 70s. Im sure you remembered that almost no vehicke purchased in that era stayed on the shoes it was sold on. That was the peak of custom wheel and tire craze. Everyone, even high school girls, saved for new rims and tires. I was about 6 when this car debuted and my uncle got one. Loved it. I thought he was so cool.
I still very seldom leave a stock wheel on anything. I'm usually picking out the wheels before I even own the vehicle. :)
Does anyone know if the 2022 has the aluminum/wood stud construction? Just wondering before I try to replace with the lag screws.
As far as I know they have not changed the basic construction of the trailers so the studs are still aluminum with wood inserted.
@@terryhatfieldmin thanks!
@@dawnebner2926 Glad to help.

Hi Terry, Welcome to my world.
Awesome
How's it tow? I really want a ProPride but the Brinkleys front end won't allow for it. I really don't want a sway monster. Our trailer is every bit of 35'.
The Weigh Safe has performed flawlessly for us. We tow in all sorts of different configurations with and without the SXS and with and without water in the tanks. We've been able to do so with no issues at all.
It’s great to see some more Mustang II content. That’s a beautiful King Cobra.
Thank you!
Nice! Horsepower?? I always liked the star Man mustang with those rims. How much power can you get out of a 78, 302?
I suppose that is completely dependent on how much money you want to spend to get that horsepower. I've been happy with the increase we've seen with the intake, carburetor and exhaust changes we've made.
@@terryhatfieldmin How much power are you pushing out of that engine?
@@tonymaurice4157 No clue. It's never been on a dyno.
@terryhatfieldmin What's your best guess. It's 302 right? Are you even a mechanic? You knew what was done to it but you have no idea the power output.. That's the modern collector for you. Lol
@@tonymaurice4157 Thanks for assuming way to much. I was in the body shop/restoration business for over 40 years. It's not my first day. Thus I've learned not to guess on power output and not to trust anyone else's guess. I currently have and have had other cars that have been on the dyno. I'm happy to share those numbers because I know they are real. But since you are so determined for me to guess, according to Ford the stock 302 2 barrel made 139 hp at the wheels new. It might make 200 at the wheels now.
Does your planer have a rubber outfeed roller or the steel serrated outfeed roller (leaves embossed marks on narrow boards that require sanding)? Thanks. Jim
It has the serrated rollers but I work almost exclusively in white oak so the roller does not leave any marks that are an issue. It also feeds well with fairly light pressure on the rollers.
👍
I wondered if you plan to let the chickens into rhe gardens ever? Could you add compost in winter, then let them scratch? I saw a farm which rotated chickens in 3 or 4 fields. They would have their compidt piles in the fields. A cow was in one field, a goat in another. The flock knew to work the big compost piles. If a hawk came, they ran under a raised coop, or under a hedge row. A hawk got one hen out if a bush, but mostly the hens were okay. They worked on the compost all day. The compost was used to grow food for a restaurant.
It's a great idea but the way we have the garden set up is not really conducive to letting them in.
Wow nice loveit
Thank you!
No burnout?
Your babies are surely spoiled, loving their home! We need an update with them full grown.
Thanks Terry for all the great information! I just finished installing this upgrade and grounded the wire per your suggestion on my live valve. Very happy!!
I need to install this on my live valve too. Does the Live Valve still communicate and work properly with the steering light grounded? Have you noticed any difference in the suspension after this mod?
That looks awesome! Don’t have the budget it for it at the moment, but do you have any information on the power steering mod you did before?
