SF Bio "Nu blir det mer reklam" 1990 [2K] AI-Upscale
AI--upskalad version med tillfixat ljud. Så bra som det går att göra om inte Svensk Filmindustri / SFI bestämmer sig för att scanna in en ordentlig version av 35-mm negativet som förhoppningsvis finns bevarat.
Mats Kullander som jobbade på SF när den gjordes säger:
-Introt gjordes runt 1990 när vi kände ett behov av förnyelse och där är det en blandning av långfilm och reklamfilmer från 40-talet.
Innan dess så körde SF med ett annat intro som togs fram 1985 och det var startvinjetten till vårt reklamfilmsblock. Den började på 10 gick neråt 9, 8 osv och slutade med 1. Tanken var att den skulle likna en s.k. startsladd, den försladd som sitter före varje rulle i en långfilm (som publiken aldrig ser, den används av maskinisten så han kan ladda och synka allt rätt) den sladden börjar med Start, räknar sedan ner från 11 till 3 därefter 3 fots svartsladd.
För att göra den lite nostalgihäftig la vi in egna favoritscener ur reklamfilmer från MIN barndom d v s 50/60-tal. PomPom var en riktig favorit, Brylcreem likaså (Brylcreem ger stil åt alla killar osv), Martin ljung med Servalack färg, Yvonne Lombard med Marabou mjölkchoklad och en del annat smått o gott. Min stora favorit fick vi tyvärr inte loss rättigheterna till, den gällde deodoranten "MUM for Men" och där fick man fick se en tecknad blodhund som sköt sig själv, eftersom "MUM gör en man så luktfri att inte ens en blodhund kan finna honom".

My favorite scene from the movie "Catch Me if You Can". Set in the mid 1960s this specific scene depicts a impersonator Pan Am pilot (DiCaprio) making a run from Miami using eight stewardesses to draw attention away from him. Brilliant!

Great music.The film grows on you and different versions of it.
Was this using technology called AudioSR or was there a different process of fixing it?
It involved numerous steps, including grabbing the audio from the trailer and incorporating it into the disclaimer and then mixing it to make it match with the original.

Just den här Trygg Hansa-reklamfilmen är INTE gjord av Roy Andersson, men många tror det (till hans förtret). Han hade velat göra den i en tagning och ansåg inte det möjligt.

This was the first movie I saw on video in 1980 at the age of 10. The only thing I remember was this tune. I have been singing this song to my self every now and then for 40 years now, without thinking about where the song came from. Then one day thought about this song and looked it up. It was just like I remembered and Benn humming for all these years. Unbelievable. I have a huge smile on my face now. This is even the first time I ever made a comment on a CZcams video :) Tom from Norway.
Great to hear. Similar memories here. I guess everyone with a musical taste will have this song in his ear after first hearing it when watching the movie. Bacalov uses it nicely in his musical score - also quoting it in an alienated way during the final showdown.

As so many others who posted here, I have seen this movie as a young kid, and I have just watched it again here on CZcams. So many memories, and "Lilla' is a song powerful on so many levels ... And that song was the reason why I always had this scene in my mind of the moment before the dad of the lawyer was killed, when he lifted his son up and hugged him for the last time - so sad !
I had exact the same sentiments about this song and the same scene Since I was a young kid I had this theme song and scene in mind and I also never knew how the film or the song was called I know exactly how you feel Enjoy bro !

This movie I saw much later, but I understand both of you very well. The right music and the right scene is like a branding on our soul - and I like it very much to have a lot of them, because they doesn't hurt. But on the contrary. In the book, Frank told the girls that they were to model as stewardesses for a PanAm promotion. He took them all over Europe. I don't remember how he made money off of that.
