I got a xbox1 and it's not setting up nor can I do anything with cause it needs a over wifi update but I don't have wifi

So basically if it's your first time using one you would need wifi to set up a Xbox 1 account

So you NEED Internet to even use this thing? It won't play a movie, I can't play a game, nothing works without Internet. I'm out of hotspot for the rest of the month so this new purchase is awesome 😒 What a joke. I miss the 360's.

I didn’t know that my WiFi was actually not working so I was wondering why it kept saying connect to wifi

Currently on my 6th controller I happened to buy it used. Unfortunately I have yet to figure out why my PS4 is destroying every controller I’ve used since buying the slim version. Never had this problem on my fat but I had to replace it when it no longer turned on. I think I narrowed it down to a virus from a usb stick with pirated movies and music that can not be cleared from initializing the system. The hard drive must be replaced with a new one. That’s my theory. Once I get another hard drive (which I do have a 500GB) I will try and see if it remedies the situation
