The Supernova 25th Anniversary National Championships came to an end and another champion was crowned. With a full compliment of races and well over 100 boats on the water, the event was a resounding success. Congratulations to all the winners. A small motor boat, capsized in a storm a few days earlier is righted by a large RIB and returned to shore.

The final day brought 4 races in a beautiful 12-15 knots. Cliff Milliner of Cotswold SC eventually won through. Once again, a brilliant event put on by the class association and Paignton Sailing Club.

The 2019 Supernova national championships at Paignton SC got off to a slow start after large swells breaking on the beach made launching too dangerous for the 103 competitors. With one day down, Saturday and Sunday look set to be busy. Will the wind play ball? Music from Bensound.com
