Hey. So I have a G923 which is pretty much the same as a G29 and I have force feedback completely turned off in the game settings. I just tried to turn it on and I have the same problem as you described: the steering is very stiff and the setting has no effect. German Truck Simulator is quite old by now, 14 years old to be exact, so it seems like the force feedback is simply incompatible with these newer steering wheels. I am not a huge fan of force feedback anyways so I have always driven with the setting off in GTS.

You can run Flight Simulator 2000 and 2002 with modern systems quite well. Just install it from the disk if you have one, alternatively you can download the disk images from the internet. Then you just need to make sure your in-game overlay is disabled in GeForce Experience and FS2000 should start. If you are using a resolution over 1080p (so for example 1440p or 4K monitor), you need to use dgVoodoo to enable higher resolutions. This video was recorded on Windows 10 with dgVoodoo enhancements such as anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering.

@@JamesTrifolium not if you downloaded or had a later version with the Official Microsoft BIN update (1.2), it fixed multiple bugs and restored that to the E60 trainset

downloading but i suggest being carefull when downloading i cant download german so i downloaded UK truck simulator iso(iso files that can be open by deamon tools)hope this was usefull

The majority of my AI is from AIG, dating back to the years 2008-2009. I am also using some World of AI and other third-party packages to fill the gaps which AIG does not cover. The Northwest Airlines flightplans are from AIG and can be found at www.alpha-india.net/aigfiles/files/Flightplans/ in the Winter 2008-2009 folder. These contain only the flightplans, you have to search for the models and textures manually.

Thanks! Sadly, I am not much of an X-Plane guy as I've always preferred Microsoft's offerings over X-Plane. It does have some interesting add-on aircraft though. I'll keep the 777 in mind, plenty of routes to choose from with that one.

Yep, and with some add-on scenery and aircraft expansions plus AI traffic, I think Flight Simulator 2004 is still a solid product today. It runs quite well with modern hardware too.

@@Simulators Yeah, I believe the introductory rides involve the entire routes so players could see the whole routes (optionally).

Thanks! I run it in Windows 98 compatibility mode with the NVIDIA in-game overlay disabled and it works quite well with Windows 10. I also use dgVoodoo to use a modern 16:9 resolution, anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering with it.

@@SimulatorsI’m on Windows 11 and the game doesn’t work for some reason, on an Intel i5-8600K and GTX 1060. It wasn’t working for me before on 10’s 21H2 which was the issue.

@@theobserver4214 Does it boot up at all? Do you see the splash screen?

@@Simulators The splash screen does show up, but the game will not progress past that point. Even with a no-CD .exe the game will not boot up, regardless of which patch installed for FS2000 (I’ve tried unpatched and patched).

Does it give any error message? I am running it fine on Windows 10, using Bin Patch and Widescreen Fix.
