It’s a cool little set-up! Building was initially built to be an indoor playground, converted into a hockey rink. They didn’t have to make any changes to the structure

That’s a kid holding a $400 stick, marketing scam and this dad/coach is just as shameful recording in front of all the kids with regular sticks. Like “hey kids you wanna video like Jack here you gotta go buy the same gear but triple the price”

@@benjaminrees7957 interesting insight. I filmed the video - owner of this program. We had done a previous stick video with the same player a couple of weeks ago, and when he came in with the new proto, we asked him about it as it is brand new here on the island. I did not look at the points you mentioned, but will do so in future videos

Didn’t mean to come off aggressive, it’s just the way the video came across, more kids need to know it’s the player not the product 👍🏻

@@benjaminrees7957 growing up, my dad told me that if i had good techniques, i could score with anything and he was totally right. growing up, the top model was like bauer vapor 8's and i had the 4's. i grew out of them in a year.

Totally disagree @khl2024icehockey I’ve watched my fair share of PWHL games this year, and I have plenty of time for it. I really enjoy guys hockey don’t get me wrong, but the female game is also great.

@@jaretzaslow1449 the previous comment was actually for another video. Completely disregard my previous comment - any tip I have on shooting begins and ends with balance. If you're a new skater, my suggestion would be to not focus on your hands yet - get the balance and weight shift down first.

Has a little bit of everything. Shooting, puckhandling, receiving a pass while moving, battling etc. Can turn this into a 2v2 as well, just put a defensive player in front of the player shooting from the blue line. Almost mimicking a player trying to block a point shot, then play it out

I agree. In the age of real fancy stickhandling etc, there is still a place for a heavy shot fake like this. Freezing the goalie is effective at all levels
