It pissed me off that this was not album of the year.

I adored Roy, and still enjoy his music. Truly beautiful voice and music. Sad when I think we lost him so young.

This song has always reminded me of one of my other favorite Dylan tunes: Black Diamond Bay. The narrative is just so intertwined and interesting. Only Dylan can make something so convoluted so much fun to listen to.

Love the song. Would have liked to have seen more of the others, Orbison and Gibb than 98% Gatlins.

I saw Roy at a concert in 1980…. Iconic would be a understatement. He controlled everything. It was a short concert but powerful, he gave everything he had. People were overwhelmed with emotion.
