Also if you use spray killz in a can on the spot your texturing the plaster wont fall off i always spray the ceilings with killz first then patch or texture . Stay safe ✌️

I used both types of that spray crap didn't work at all more fell off the ceiling than stuck ended up using my hopper sprayer . Looks good sir

For those wanting to "fine tune" your enjoyment level for this trip, let me make just a couple of recommendations about the direction of travel. For those just making this trip as a one way trip, and isn't a round trip, I'd suggest you start your trip (again if you have an option) from the Lorton, Virginia depot and head south. I found the Lorton, VA depot to be superior to the Sanford, FL one in several respects. The directional singage at the Florida location was inadequate for a first time Auto Train traveler, both for getting to the Depot, and finding your specific passenger car once you started to board. The Sanford location had NO signage indicating the entrance to the facility! You just had to guess which pair of non-descript railroad tracks you had to turn into and travel down quite a ways before you could tell you were in the right place. It was quite easy to guess wrong and have to drive back and forth over the same section of tracks! Also, the Lorton Depot had a large sign that was right outside the boarding exit, that listed all the passenger cars, with arrows directing you to either turn left or right to find your specific car! The Sanford Depot had no such sign, which required ALL the passengers to ask the same Cabin attendent where they needed to go. Kinda' sh***y in my view! Additionally, the Lorton Depot was superior to the Sanford one because the Gift Shop was much larger and nicer, with more items (snacks and comfort items) to purchase for use on the trip, plus the Lorton location had an outdoor patio, where you could sit, eat, and view the interesting car loading process. The Sanford locale had no such outdoor seating, but there wasn't anything to see outside as the car loading process was done out of sight behind the back of a building. Kinda' disappointing IMO!

I'm another user of this system - recently was doing some cleanup in basement and came across it - was wondering if it was still being used - guess so. I always found it a hassle to cleanup and the long hose sometimes can get caught on other objects. With the more reasonably priced variable speed pole sanders available, might be time to let this one go.

Thanks for the video. I just installed mine today and used the tape not the screws. Only time will tell if it works this way. My roof is 10/12 and the shingles are heavy weight so there is a lot of pressure on the Gutter Guards. They really snaped into place so maybe the pressure on them will hold them in place. I can always put the screws in later if needed.

Does the water main need to be off first to do this? Seems to imply that it does not but I’m trying to help a friend in a condo and she doesn’t have access to a shutoff valve. I’m nervous to open anything up without having the option to turn everything off
