Australian 2015 yarris. Passenger door. Put key in. Unlock-lock about 8 times. That's all. It worked. I almost gave up. Cheers.

@Zed-FULL - I've used this video twice in the last year thank you. I have a 2010 Corolla and it appears that the Receiver module loses the keycodes when the battery dies. The first time I replaced the receiver module - which I threw it out and it was probably good as I learned later. Then I used this and it worked (see notes below.. some problems), then the battery died and I replaced it, and the door locks no longer worked.. So I saw @yyzbogdan2680s note (it is the first comment) not sure if they would stick if I rewrote.. but they are working now so I'm not going to try it. **MY BIG COMMENT IS WATCH WHAT HE DOES, DON'T FOLLOW THE STEPS AT THE BOTTOM** of the Video. Here is a proper written procedure you can print out that will work to ADD a key (which you will lose when the battery dies). Car validated on: 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA REMOVE RECEIVER PROGRAMMING NOTE: This video has a couple of errors, *WATCH* what he does, not the words at the bottom of the screen. In the video the corrections to the written instructions are as follows if you can't use your phone to view the video as doing this: -Step 4&6 should also say "remove key" at the end. -Step 8 should have said, "repeat twice" at the end. -Step 10 (Zed's step 12) have said "Open and Shut".) czcams.com/video/jZa31GbEswU/video.html 1. Open driver’s side door. Leave all other doors closed. 2. Insert key in the ignition (don’t turn) and remove. Do this 2 times. 3. Shut the driver’s side door, then open, shut again and open, leave it open. 6. Insert Key in ignition (don’t turn ), remove key. 7. Shut the driver’s side door (leave it closed). 8. To add a new remote, turn the ignition back to the on position (don’t start), then turn back to the off position and remove the key. Repeat this step again. ---- DOOR LOCKS WILL NOW CYCLE ONCE TO INDICATE IT IS IN PROGRAMMING MODE --- 9. Press the lock and unlock buttons of the remote together for 3 seconds, then release, then press the lock button once. ---- IF PROGRAMMED SUCCESSFULLY DOOR LOCKS WILL CYCLE, IF NOT REPEAT STEP 9 ---- 10. To end the procedure, open and shut the driver’s side door. 11. Test the remote

Questions i keep see in videos like this but all the cars always got power windows now havent actually tried yet but im just concern because my car is not power windows is manual windows so does that matter for pogramming the key or a controller / universal key fob

What these guys don’t tell you, is that you need a Autel or Toyota Laptop to program to add a key fob. So cases, 4 times out of 5, you have to erase all the fobs and then program them all to the vehicle for the fob to work!

I don’t understand why all of these videos do not say if you’re putting the master key or the new key and when you’re doing that switch around!!!! Very simple. If you can’t make clear instructions, stop running us around on a wild goose chase.

On my '13 Corolla I had to turn on/off twice for the programming to work.
