great video i been boxing 38 years and i never throw a right hook after a jab as i feel it leaves me open unless there in the corner and i use it to make angle , i do understand how the double jab gets you closer giving you space to throw the right hook , and i love the balance of the power the flowing from the right hook to the left, ,, aint boxing amazing you learn something knew every day . going to pratice this thanks mate then pass the combo on thanks

Even though I've been training in various forms of combat sport for over 22 years, I am always reworking my basics and fundementals.... In fact, the more training time and/or competition experience I accumulate, the clearer it becomes that there is always room for improvement when it comes to your fundamentals (ESPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO THE JAB; THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT PUNCH IN COMBAT SPORTS!!)... Can you show an example of that again? The pivot with your back foot. Could you explain how you shift your weight from your back foot to your front foot and stay in rhythm with your opponent?

Be better to take down the intensity and work on building technical skills and quality over having more or less real fights. I get my students to “learn” how to spar properly so they can continuously learn and improve. I will only allow the experienced fighters land a little harder . I think that’s why a lot of gyms have high turnovers of students starting but stopping after a while because the fun can only last so long if your getting headaches and busy faces 3/4 times a week

They need to stop trying to take each other head off and just work to build up those skills first
