I had (still have) a bargain-bin VHS copy of this movie - titled 'Hollywood Dinosaurs' - myself. It's actually quite well-done and informative. I found it at Wal-Mart about 30 years ago; I have been a Godzilla fan all of my life - I can't recall a time when I didn't know who he was - and this helped lead me to several giant monster films that I otherwise might not have found until much later, during the rise of the Interwebs. It also greatly increased my respect for the old animators like Harryhausen and O'Brien. While I am sure that this is the same compilation I watched, in 'Hollywood Dinosaurs' most of the trailers were narrated - sometimes informatively, sometimes a bit snarky. I remember distinctly that the narrator said said that 'The Lost World' offered "the same lizards with the same glued-on fins. When every school child in the audience knew better." And the 'Reptilicus' segment contained the best narrator riff: "American International Pictures would release ANYTHING, but even THEY knew 'Reptilicus' was awful," refusing to release it until the 'ridiculous' scenes of Reptilicus flying were excised.

As far as the studio goes, these are vastly improved upon by DAW's, but I'm looking to buy one of these to keep in my PA rack so I can record all of my band's shows without having to carry a laptop around. I feel the hardware recorder would be a bit more reliable and hopefully it could all stay wired up in the rack so we just have to turn it on and hit record once we get set up. Anybody have any input on this plan? Obviously there are far more modern rackmount hardware recorders, but they all cost about 10x what you can pick up one of these for

I loved this documentary so much growing up. Being a Dino Kid whenever my brain was empty on a weekend I’d pop this into my VHS player and watch it over and over again. So much so I needed to use a cleaner tape more than once haha! I think I long lost the tape so it’s great to see it again on yt!

HUMANS SUCK, many have came close to perpetual motion. NO ONE HAS DONE A THING TO SHOW TIME TRAVEL IS EVEN A REAL THING. But more believe time travel is possible & perpetual motions isn't. so stupid.. perpetual motion wont be found in a machine based on spinning wheel. spinning wheels can be used as a output multiplier for a mechanism within the machine. I have a feeling most of the machine will be output multipliers . The only reason anyone has for saying it not possible is arrogance
