Thank you for two interesting presentations. It's too bad this has had only a small number of views. I enjoyed Gier Hasnes talk on Chesterton, Undset and Jaki. I had no idea that Chesterton and Undset were in communication with each other. It is also pleasant to learn that Jaki held Chesterton in such high esteem. Like Dr. Long I too stumbled upon the writings of Fr. Jaki. I am not a Catholic myself, but I find a great affinity between his thinking and my own. Partly this is due to my exposure, during my undergraduate days, to Alfred Landé's writings against the Copenhagen Interpretation. Ever since, then I have resisted the acausality that has permeated the physical sciences and as I have gotten older (I'm now 73) I see more clearly Dr. Long's concern about the need to keep reality in STEM and the devastating consequences that will follow if it is not. Thanks again!

This is really cool to see and hear Dr. Debbie in such an intimate interview. I just finished a short CZcams biography doc. on Albert Ellis, and I recognize Dr. Debbie from a few of the pics and videos I found during my online research. Ellis is one of my psych heroes because of all the people he helped, and especially for his comedic approach to psychotherapy. I just hope that I did him justice in my fun little video, and provided accurate accounts from his life and work.

He really should give up on his points about "woke" culture, I don't think wondering if "third world" is pc is an effective use of anyone's time. Regardless of your stance on it I think it usually just detracts from his better points on more important issues. That being said he does seem to focus less on it lately.
