On other comments I explain more on this but the jump itself isn't a jump and doesn't clear the gap at trail speed. You gotta know this ahead of time and haul into it, and you still have to pull on it. That's what makes it dangerous. It could be fixed by a better run in and building up the lip with rock so it doesn't keep eroding. While he may have goofed, suggesting he didn't have the skill is not really cool. Would love to see a video showing us how you hit that feature though. Perhaps we'd all be able learn a thing or two......

My comment applies to ANY rider. If you re-read what I put down, I never called out your rider specifically. Some jumps/features are not made to be easy, or user friendly. Sometimes, they're like a puzzle, or a math problem and the rider has to actually figure them out (speed, body position, what to do on take off, etc.). This "gap" is no different. If your rider can clean the double, before crossing the double wide path that leads up to the gap, there should be no problem. You also have to know the trail (as well as your limits) - your comment alludes to not knowing this jump was there in the first place, and I'll reiterate, it's not the jumps fault, it's the riders - 100%. You won't see any videos of me doing little jumps at little trails, I'm usually too busy riding my bike to worry about stopping and filming myself.

Last weekend of the month we will be camping and riding cyuna. Very excited. Haven't had a lot of time on the bike this year.

Yes! He was 100% ok. Both my boys wear chest and back protection, knee pads, elbow pads, and downhill rated full face helmets. You can basically throw yourself down the mountain and be ok 🤙😁 he only had a couple bruises from where the bike landed on him!
