Been today got on every ride no problem at all but avalanche is looking very tired and so is grand national.. tracks on the national are proper bent

Hey i think this park is brill now ice blast isa stood there the dogam has gone but infusion is an old coster and the big one are old costers fhey should be took down this park had it days i would like to have all infusion seats in ny bed room and i will cleen them and take care of them steve

They have to clear areas before they can redevelop them, my guess is that a large area at the frunt of the park will be redeveloped. The electricity for the bumper cars might be connected to the cables for the Grand Prix.

Really hope they do ride tickets again. Last time i went pleasure beach was just over 2 years ago and i don't plan on going again any time soon, but i've been blackpool numerous times in the last 2 years and every time i'm there i think, i wish i could just buy tickets to go on a few rides. Cause i'd 100% go on one or 2 rides, but i'd never pay the gate price if i'm just in Blackpool for the day.

I was there on the 6th the 10 till 10 wqs a rubbish day big one didn’t operate all day infusion broke down numerous times fireworks were rubbish overall waste of money chesington by far a batter family day out this park is in a massive decline and till Amanda is replaced it will carry on going the same way she ain’t intrested in the customers opinion just money money money

They need to use wristbands with QR code which can be scanned like at fantasy island ! xx

Removing all family-friendly attractions in favour of thrill rides is a mistake

I fear for the Pleasure Beach. If that was quite busy, they have huge problems. Along with Ice Blast, Grand Prix, River Caves and Dodgems this year, add Monorail, Trauma Towers, Wild Mouse etc, etc and you start to wonder what they are doing.

It seems the park has quite alot of rides coming to the end of their lives at the same time...those bumber cars were on their last legs 5 year ago.

That show/ride ticket booth was open last Saturday. It lasted a few hours before the shutters were back down. From memory, the only ride sign without the ticket number is Icon. Valhalla's sign, printed last year, does have the number of tickets box (was left blank, though) Think we all know the long-awaited part for Ice Blast is a bulldozer!

Sad seeing it like this. Still has some great rides but for me, the atmosphere has just gone. Show & Ride, Interesting. It was a name they used many years ago for a combination book of tickets. Perhaps its just that, if you book or go to see Hot Ice, you get given ride tickets as well

With ice blast and river caves not operating. If they hadnt done the final lap event they could have kept it open for the season

Sad to see. When I lived in the UK I would jump on a train in Manchester and spend the day on the Pleasure Beach and then get the last train back home. I now live in a part of the World where there are three theme parks in my location.

I really think they will use the old track for something else instead of ripping it up

I can keep you posted on the new ride, replaces the grand prix as I have a friend who works at the pleasure beach

Was the pleasure beach open, never seen it so empty on a warm sunny day. Years ago you could hardly move in there on a day like that. Open it up to everyone again and the money will start rolling in. Just seems to cater for the rollercoaster fan members now, not families.

Blackpool will never get a world class coaster,The new ride will be dissapointing.They have not got the space.

I don’t think it has anything at all to do with Euro’s. It was empty like this the last 2 times I went and heard others say the same. It’s too expensive. Need to bring back being able to walk in for free and buy ride tickets. Looks at the video’s from the 80’s and 90’s, it was packed. All those people may not all go on rides but a good chance they will buy a drink or have a go in the arcade.

BPB really need a good infrastructure / landscaping team, too many areas and dead spaces looking tatty and uncared for.

I think the best thing that could happen for this park? Is for new owners with deep pockets to come along and buy it.

If Blackpool does not have an engineer on staff smart enough to outwit a rain drops effect on a proximity sensor? They are in sad shape......

If they put another metal coaster in it will be another nail in the coffi of the pleasure beach. So many family rides gone and the high charge to get in for non riders like Grandparents etc.I renember it in the 70's and 80's so busy and full of families. Lots of arcades ,food outlets etc fir families to sit and enjoy the place.Opened till late in tge summer with firework displays. Looks soulness now.

New sub here. Very surprised they have done work so soon. Thought it would be sbno for a while before anyone touched it as electric can be severed at the station. Makes me a little excited.

The biggest problem with BPB isn't the rides, its the "on the door" admission price. Blackpool can be booming on the promenade, but when they are charging up to £50 per person on the door to get into BPB, no family will pay that for each person to get in! They will simply cross the road to the piers and get the cheaper option. They seriously need to bring back the walk-in non rider ticket and bring down the "on the door" admission prices otherwise we shall see more empty and quiet days at BPB and the park will suffer!

BPB is a mess and declining very fast. It will never compete with the likes of alton towers, thorpe Park etc. So much history being destroyed. We'll done Amanda

The eddie stobart ride use to be the veteran cars and held 4 people same as the old grand prix petrol cars. kind of miss it

Any news on The River Caves is it gonna open this season?

When the Piers are cheaper than the pleasure beach, you know there's an issue. I managed to ride all of the attractions at Central pier for less than PB's entry fee

Only worse than infusion at pleasure beach because it has more rows and the supposedly padding on the shoulder restraints feel like bricks and are much closer to your head whereas infusion their is more space and softer padding ❤❤

This is so dissapointing to see. I used to go to this park every year and I loved it. Such a shame to see ice blast in such a state.

Not been in the pleasure beach for years Yet we visit Blackpool 4/5 times are year with having family living in bispham. Passed it on a really hot day last year, the promenade, piers, town centre etc was heaving with thousands of people but the pleasure beach looked empty. People years ago Who holidayed in Blackpool, virtually all made at least one visit to the pleasure beach during their stay, not anymore. They are missing out on hundreds if not thousands of visitors a day. Nearly £200 pound for 2 adults 2 children. No chance.

I love this coster when it went down the first launch my mind thought why ive done this and when it goes over the big hill my tummy drop and now i love its better then the infusion not as rough what do you think steve
