Funny and dissapointing at the same time a situation like this was mention on Facebook with a CBC link about a Halifax Couple wish a simular situation, exception is the woman in that case have a wheel chair to large to fit inside the Renaissance car running the Halifax Montréal train. Not the first time, since the old Stainless car on the Montréal Halifax train was change to Renaissance equipement there were law suit again Via rail to improve accessibility for people in Wheelchair. Via lost the case back then it was in the beginning of the 2000 like just a few year after Via made the change of train set. For us in the Maritime the Renaissance car realy suck, there small, not confortable compare to the old stainless steel car. Via rail need new equipement to respond to all Canadian need they need it realy bad. Realy hope they get that budget they have super good plan coming up.

A man in Windsor had to sue the University because he was suspended and arrested twice for tape recording Social Work lectures. He had an Auditory Processing Delay (hearing) and would miss information if he didn't replay the lectures later. He won his Human Rights Case. Meanwhile when I went to the same university many of us in Social Work taped our lectures routinely. This was nothing out of the ordinary.
