Many interior shots billed as the Titanic are actually the nearly identical Olympic. Not many photographers bothered to photograph the Titanic. They also didn't have much time to do anything.

It's so sad that the Olympic, Titanics sister ship (and it's exact copy) was not kept as a museum so people could tour it and feel like they are on the Titanic. Also, Titanics life boats no longer exist today - what a memorial they would have made today.

Crazy how a Roblox game manages to not only give a much better and accurate model with more realistic interior sections but also got the sinking and animations perfectly. Sure the game wasn’t made 20 years ago but still.🫤

Her hull is stll mostly in one piece, and it hasn't collapsed like Titanic's. However, it probably corroded to the point where trying to raise it would cause it to break apart. The cost is prohibitive and I can't imagine how the hull eould be preserved. The salt would have to removed from the it's steel structures to prevent it from disintegrating.

I don’t like both movies. The 1997 titanic movie was pretty good without the romance. But with that detail it makes the movie (at least for me) unwatchable. Same with the brittanic movie just without all the extras. Everything in that movie sucks.

The United States, two decades later, had interiors in a style known as "mid century modern": a very different, more utilitarian style which was basically the look of the 1950s, not 1930s art deco. It's therefore wrong to say the United States was art deco.
