Mine never injects easily

I got mine almost a week ago and it wasn’t painful to get, the injection for numbing it stung for a few seconds and then I couldn’t feel anything after, my arm was numb and it just felt like pressure. The bruising for me was straight away but it isn’t big.

Got mine done last week was not wearing your gown. I didn't see the point I was wearing. My work closed. Someone had my shirt off and it hurt like hell. Might use having a needle jammed into my spine. I went home early. I didn't feel the thing. They're gonna tell me that I'm not gonna feel well and I might be dizzy. I'm a lot stronger than that. So I wasn't just p***** off. I had to lay there without my family and my friends. For support which I didn't get. Five friggin hours in hospital. I didn't get my results back yet. So I don't know what the deal is

I ended up at the A&E (London) with balance disturbances after having chickenpox (2 days after the scabs dried - I'll add that I had a very mild case of chickenpox).Problems with walking and balance started. They did blood tests, a CT scan, an MRI, EMG, and a lumbar puncture. (I'm not sure how much fluid they took exactly, but I think around 30 milliliters as recommended).I lay down for 1.5 hours after the lumbar puncture, and they sent me home. An hour later, I started vomiting. For the next 3 days, I could barely walk and kept vomiting, so I returned to the A&E. I'm not vomiting anymore, but I have a balance problem; my movements aren't "fluid." I'm exhausted by this.What should I do? Will it go away? I'll add that my mom had multiple sclerosis, and I told the doctor about it, but they ruled out all neurological causes after all the tests came back okay.

Never again. Had this done nearly a week ago, still in pain. My back feels so weird, horrible pains over my body.. I was in the fetal position for 1.5 - 2 hours having this done. Was awful. My brother said his was reslly quick mine was beyond!! Weird how people take it ok or feel pretty traumatised.. make sure youve got a gooden doing it!!

Ask if the medical folks are putting in a picc or long term "deep" iv, then ask if they are going to anesthitize the area 1st so you don't feel like you've been tortured - like me. Ounce of prevention. Also ask if blood can be drawn from it instead of being poked in 4 different places to draw blood - other than the iv port - like me.

Honestly, the anaesthetic injection was so painful. During the procedure the doctor touched a nerve and I felt a huge shock go though both my legs. I feel sick thinking about it 😂

Ik currently going thru this rn. It has been 5 days and ive been in my bed lying in pain every day to the point i think of suicide. I wouldnt recommend this procedure unless it is very serious

Why do they think they gain about lying to people about pain. This is obviously painful as fuck. Its better for people to be prepared.

I just had a lumbar puncture today and it wasn't that bad, I was kind of worried about it but it really wasn't a big deal at all. No headache yet, and I don't anticipate one if I continue to lay here for a day or two

The needle snapped inside my spine, i was rushed for emergency surgery, they never found the needle again, i can feel scratching in my spin when i walk and my right eye blinks a lot ... On the plus side ive got a lot more girl friend's, so all good .... Only joking, it all went well and only felt a little nip ...

Im going to have this procedure soon and im really nervous but honestly i think its the thought of having a needle in my spine that freaks me out more than the fact that it could be painful or uncomfortable 😭

I had mine done today, also dreaded it but honestly stubbing your toe is more painful. My doc could tell I was a little anxious and not only did he wonderfully execute the procedure but he congratulated me on how well I was doing after each needle :,) Very scary to think about however everyone is different! An experienced doc/nurse works absolute magic
