Regarding the Smash Bros character win rates, this doesn't mean that any character can make it in the big leagues. Some characters do better in the hands of unskilled players playing against unskilled players while others are more viable in a competitive setting. However this does go to show that they accomplished their goal of making it a balanced game even among different skill levels which is impressive!

If Nintendo acquires Disney.....would Nintendo Pictures be absorbed into Walt Disney Animation Studios and would it put it on equal footing with Sony? And have a streamer of its own? I would like Disney+ on my Switch if that were to happen.....

I do not forgive AAA studios for making games that are worse than the previous. Taking out gamemodes just to put them back but behind a paywall. No. Fuck that. And the 'game studios give job to so many people', yeah because nobody was fired in the game industry in the past 2 months. Nobody. At all. Guys. Guys why did you even post this? Baldurs Gate SHOULD BE the TripleA standard. The whole 'ah plz dont compare us to BG3' is not a 'dont compare us to the 'best game ever made' it's a 'plz keep buying our half finished buggy moneyhungry messes instead of having ANY kind of expectation. Plz eat our shit.' Ninte do is also moneyhungry but they do what BG3 does. They give a good playing experience. Because the point if the player is having fun or not.

I'm glad Pokemon is getting more challenging, specifically at the end game. The whole game shouldn't be a pushover to complete and you just get everything. Legendary pokemon especially. They are some of the most powerful pokemon, why would it be easy

Been playing since Gen 1. Went back to earlier gens this past year. The quality of life improvements make the newer games seem easier. Difficulty at the post game has certainly gone up. One good rework was the BDSP Cynthia fight, that encounter felt like a PvP battle. When the games (Red/Blue) came out players as old as high schoolers were playing these games at the time so you are talking about players entering their 40s and still playing. There has to be something for those player. The dens can be hard, sure, but it's quite rewarding. Most of the 7* dens can be solo'd. Mewtwo was exceptionally difficult and requires skill to beat, but there a plenty of 6* that I could say are harder than Mewtwo. 6* Lycanroc (Dusk) comes to mind. Same goes for 6* Umbreon. Most of the harder dens will require teamwork and most randos just want to slap mons around and not think of strategy/support mons. I'm alright with having these mons in dens instead of code cards. Since lockdown there has been a bottleneck of the card distribution. My local GameStop never has it and I've tried 3 other local spots and none of them seem to gave them. So pretty much all the Event mon from the swsh era i could not get. However, when I go online I see individuals trading code cards for mons, they have 20+ cards to distribute.

The mewtwo was quite a bit easier than it was made out to be to be honest. I was able to do it online with a max party of randoms, with a group of 2 others, and with just myself and a friend. We were able to finish it off with over half of the time. The struggle bug build made it pretty brain dead, I even saw that there was a solo build for it(although it required a fair amount of RNG). Personally i think 7 star raids being tough is perfectly fine. It’s given me an excuse to actually pick up my copy of scarlet every couple of weeks since there wasn’t much of a post game, now I get to shiny hunt and train the Pokémon I want to use for the raid.

Adult Pokémon fans have been saying for years that the games are too easy. Give them a little difficulty in the form of an optional raid and now it’s too hard. Maybe just let the games be games. Introduce a challenge mode aka beginner or skilled mode before you start the game and all this will be resolved.

Just happened upon this video in my recommended vids. I think there's a nuance to the situation. Because yes, accomplishing something cool like the Mewtwo terra raid can be a massive sense of pride and satisfaction that you Did The Thing. But it's also very alienating to a huge chunk of the community, and stressful to boot! I myself am a casual player in my late 20s who has been playing since the first generation - it's not that I'm incapable of understanding or achieving the steps needed to stand a chance at this, but here are the huge flaws with this method of distribution (in my personal opinion). 1- The difficulty curve. It is very restrictive to casual players and children alike that cool Pokemon like Mewtwo are walled behind raids like this. Yes, it makes sense to make you earn it. No, it does NOT make sense to require you to build a massively specific competitive-viable Pokemon to take on ONE raid. 2- The time sink. It takes time to build a competitive Pokemon from scratch. You have to have all the items that allow you to fine-tune its stats, bottle caps, nature mints, Exp candy, Tera Shards etc. This all takes grinding, whether from doing UNRELATED raids, finding the items naturally, or buying them, which requires you to grind money. This also could potentially cost you REAL money if you don't want to just sit mashing the A button for hours & invest in a turbo controller instead. 3- The reliance on multiplayer. As you mentioned in the video, if you don't have a team of friends waiting to jump into a raid with you, you'll have to settle for either randos who could kill your attempt VERY easily or the NPCs, who are better than in Sword & Shield (apparently), but still much less useful than having people who know what they're doing. In the end, it's less YOUR accomplishment and more you getting lucky. (Speaking of luck, the Mewtwo raid was reportedly nigh impossible to do consistently even with the optimal spread. This meant you were relying on the RNG to favor you, adding to the brutal difficulty mentioned above.) 4- The limited availability. The difference between the roaming legendaries in the old games and this raid is that you can try again and again to get the roaming legends, at YOUR LEISURE. Hell, if you restart the game from the very beginning, you won't lose out on them at all. Meanwhile, raids put a strict time limit on the special Pokemon. Didn't have the game yet? Too bad. Didn't beat the story & unlock the higher raids yet? Too bad. Didn't learn about it until it was too late? Too damn bad. Of course, the limited in-person and Wi-Fi distribution events have this same problem (although they didn't typically require you to delve into the post-game to get the event in the first place). But it didn't feel like you were losing out on game content if you couldn't make it to one or two. Which brings me to... 5- The lack of post-game content. After the story, there used to be a lot more to do with the mainline games. New side quests, unexplored areas, catching legendary Pokemon, etc. Now, there's really nothing to do but complete the Pokedex or participate in raids. Even for competitive players, it used to be you could still participate in the Battle Tower/Battle Frontier/whatever equivalent there was. Those types of challenges have become ghosts of their former selves (Sw/Sh) or are just straight-up nonexistent (Sca/Vio). It gets incredibly boring after a short while, and it gets even worse when you realize the DLC is pretty much the post-game with a time gap and an additional paywall. 6- The contribution to a lack of interesting lore. Most of the time, old event Pokemon didn't really have a story behind them. The most you could expect was that it was a tie-in with the movies/anime. But there were also events like the Eon Ticket, Oak's Letter, the Azure Flute (despite not being released), etc that added to the story of the Pokemon world as a whole. Simply getting a legendary with no story behind it is... honestly kind of boring. Even in OR/AS, finding legendaries through Hoopa's rings was more compelling! Or in US/UM when you go through the wormholes for them! It added just a bit more to the experience than Battle Legend, Get Legend. All this has resulted in people like me... never really bothering with the raids, never mind the raid events. I think the last time I really participated in a raid event was back in Sword and Shield when they first announced the Milcery event. And it wasn't even for the Pokemon itself! It was an easy, non-prohibitive raid that I could do without beating the entire game (though I believe I had at that point) and without having to rely on other people. All to hoard the evolution item it dropped at the end, because it was super annoying and slow to get otherwise! I even got a single shiny out of it! (& I could go on about the liberal use of shiny locking these events.) Still, it SUCKS that I will never have that special Mewtwo. I don't have the time, nor the patience to dedicate to something like this. I don't want to waste my in-game resources grinding up a single Pokemon to the perfect competitive spread. Hell, I don't want to so much as change my Mew's tera type! I got it as fire, and I think that's cool and special, since it could've been ANY type! It's just... tiring. Why make this so difficult...? What is the point, other than providing a select amount of people, with the time and energy to burn, the ability to flaunt their accomplishment? Kids deserve to feel special and cool, just as much as adults do. And just because you're a casual player, it doesn't mean you should be locked out of one of the best parts of Pokemon - collecting the cool, strong Pokemon! Competitive players have enough to brag over, with the tournaments catering to them. They used to have even more, with the Battle Frontier locations & other difficult in-game achievements, too. I will never understand the decision to remove so much from the base games & replace it with prohibitive things like paid DLC and timed, competitive events. In my opinion it should only be one or the other: limited duration, or high difficulty. Not both. An additional note before I finally stop typing: Scarlet & Violet do have Legendaries inherent in the game like the Legendary dogs are. They don't roam, granted, but you can still get the box legends, as well as the Treasures of Ruin just by going through the story & exploring. And you DO have to work a bit for the 4 Treasures, even if you look up a guide. Meanwhile, distribution Pokemon have always been pretty much free, as long as you go to the thing. Back before wireless, it would be done via trade, or using an e-reader or other, more specialized method. The biggest demand of these events was time (& maybe a throw-away trade Pokemon). I remember standing in line at a Toys R Us to get a Mew during gen 3. Once D/P/Pt came out, Wi-Fi and mystery gift Pokemon (where you go to the physical store) were usually the method used, with the occasional codes distributed. Nowadays, nothing is ever done wirelessly in stores, but the occasional codes are still distributed to them via scratch-off cards. All other distributions are at-home Wi-Fi... or, starting with Sword and Shield, the stupid raids... Legendary distribution events have ALWAYS been free and easy. Lumping them & the raids in with native encounters in the game is a disservice. In my opinion, the only way to fix these event raids as they are is by making them a free & permanent update, rather than only a limited event. That way, you can have all the time in the world to prepare for it, instead of just a small window.

It's more likely for Disney to aquire Nintendo than the other way around, and that's a scary idea lol. Disney would run Nintendo into the ground
