Get to know me:
My name is Kiff Chatterly and I am originally from the show Kiff, but I want to live my dream by recording videos about DXing, owning a 1987 Totevision HY-5500 since 2023 and yeah, (its a real old TV set from the 80s) i want to live my dream by posting videos that are serving the East Haven metropolitan/Branford, CT metropolitan complex too.
I will start posting videos with shortwave fm and am stations on this channel.
I want to do recordings of TV stations in 2024 and I did some recordings in 2022 and 2023 that want to put on this channel.

WLVC-AM Rensselaer, NY (YouTubers Variety 105.7) received in Southern Connecticut (9.3.2024)
I had to null out WYBC to get this AM station and plus I heard they’re running on 1,000 watts unlimited and they were airing promos, that’s why I couldn’t hear them.
Frequency: 1340 kHz (in C-QUAM AM stereo)
Translator(s): 105.7 W289DF (Rochester/Elmira, New York)
Power: 1,000 watts unlimited day and night
Format: Top 40 (CHR), adult contemporary, variety, all mixed together.
Owner: David Emerson (Lockport Communications, LLC)
Repeater(s): 1340 WJVC (Rensselaer)
WLVC simulcasts 1230 WHPY from Corning, NY that’s why I couldn’t receive the 1230 AM frequency, therefore, I received WLVC before it was mixing with WYBC.

Someone gave me a great idea on how to use the internal bar antenna inside of the radio so I end up trying it out to see how it goes. And also, if you didn’t know, I broung my DTV box and a hard drive so that way I can send it or post station IDs when I’m inside of the hotel. Thank you guys for watching !

I couldn’t get better signal so I ended up moving my AM loop antenna towards a better spot and location. I was getting 1250 WTIK from Madison instead of WMTR both mixed together.

If you didn’t notice, WEHS ID was jacked up because SPTV try to play them and mess up the entire idea so therefore it’s all messed up now thanks to SPTV 😢😢😢

Hey, that’s mean, she can receive WAEK on 1520 kHz, she can it’s not a problem you can’t receive WAEK or W269DW because you’re only in Bay Shore, New York that’s why. I can receive it because I live in New London that’s why is it covers by 1kW and some power at 330kW critical hours and 29kW at night covering only the Southern Connecticut and Southeastern parts of Connecticut that’s why. If kiff can receive it, so can you but I bet you can’t. And plus she can receive it clear because she only lives in East Haven across from Tweed Airport (now Avelo Airlines)

Oh I see you receive WNSW, WNHP (0-5 times) on 1480 AM with WZRC (Cantonese) I also see you receive for 1440 WLIM, WFTU 1570 AM (Riverhead) at 500 watts at night and some of the Connecticut station on AM at 1:00am in July and June.

I’m not joking they actually switched to Fuego 106.3 FM, rest in piece TikTok Radio, TikTok is shutting down is TikTok radio affiliates on August 2, 2024.
Note: WNHP (1480) normally don’t do DX tests, they just broadcast normally at 50,000 watts of power full time and stuff.
Note: it’s only on 5000 watts daytime only so I received only on 103.7 FM only and it’s stream on TuneIn.
Again ~ WNHP is fake on 1480 AM, I know it’s real but again it’s KG Radio 105.5 not CZcamsrs Variety.
