Welcome to my channel. My name is Akinyi, a financial advisor and digital nomad. I love everything about living a well rounded life. I believe we have to bring up all aspects of our lives in order to live a life of joy, meaning and purpose. On this channel, I talk about God, personal finance, productivity, travel, self care, power of the mind and more. I enjoy several hobbies such as cooking, DIY, thrifting, walking, traveling and solo dates. I love to talk about mindful morning routines as well as evening routines that set us up for great days. I also enjoy sharing self improvement content on the different areas of our lives, social media detox and how it's a great determinant of how we live our lives, either devoid of chaos or with the chaos our minds pick up from social media. It definitely was not easy. I had withdrawals as I relied on it for the quick dopamine fixes but with time I occupied my mind with other things and the urge to go back subsided. The hardest part was not being able to be inspired by the content creators I followed but I try to seek out others on the primary platform I use; CZcams. Thanks for watching!

Gm I totally agree now my question is if we know social media is really setting us up to fail so why do we believe in AI and other platform? I only use online marketing for my businesses, but your point is very well taken 😊
I think people are aware of the dangers of AI but also appreciate the usefulness in some respects so it’s a catch 22 situation.

I have learned to not wait on anyone to experience life and things. I have taken myself on dates. It's awkward walking into certain spaces alone, and can take a few minutes to warm up, and shake off the thought that everyone is starring 😂. But I end up enjoying myself, meeting and talking to new people.

Been really really contemplating on quitting altogether and focusing on CZcams. I enjoy creating, just not on the other platforms. Something about not fitting in, disingenuousness, comparison, false sense of community etc.. Whenever I delete the apps I'm amazed at just how much time I have. I could go on and on but finding your channel confirms everything I've been feeling
