    Hows the swingarm working out? Looking for a replacement swingarm on my bagger build. Any mods to install or straight bolt on? Looking for taller shock mount points and additional trans clearance. Do they offer an option for spools?

      Swing arm is great. Working well . I didn’t see any options for spools when I ordered mine. Yes bolted on directly with no modifications. A1 states you can run 15” shocks with the high lifter swing arm . Plenty of clearance for the trans.

      Thank you for the info! After owning a Pan America and having ridden a buddy’s Sportster S, I thought it was an interesting question. I currently have a 2024 Street Glide and wonder whether it would make sense to spend money on HP mods or just get a second bike, like another PanAm or Sporty S.

      @T-Machinist Před 10 dny

      I like the Sportster S . I know tuning is available for the new 2024 tourings,but I’m having so much fun on the sportster . I probably will do a big cam , ported intake, and a big throttle body , keep the heads stock on the roadglide. I’m going to wait and see who makes the best bolt in cam. The only thing I miss is not having the bags to put my wallet , phone and keys in. I wish there was a button release flip open seat and some storage under the tail section on the sportster.

I built a makeshift catch can to prevent that regurgitated crap coming back into the engine and coating the top of the pistons and heads. Every time I clean it it looks very similar to what you’re showing milky watery oily. Hope this helps. Keep shooting your videos I’m having fun watching them! Cheers

    • @T-Machinist
      @T-Machinist Před 2 měsíci

      I had this same swing arm on my 2019 Roadglide. That bike had way more power than this one. Never had any issues. The only thing is if you have legend revo arcs . On the high lifter swing arm you can’t run it in the stock height position. The bottom of spring perch contacts the high lifter mount. If you have stock or ohlins there isn’t any problem. If you have legend revo A shocks you can flip them upside down. Or A1 has a swing arm without the high lifter option , there won’t be any problems with shocks if you don’t desire an increased ride height.

    • @T-Machinist

      I really like them. The stock bars are nice this year, but I like the looks of the Thrashin set up and I have the pull back plate along with the 6.5 “ pull back risers. It’s not the typical Thrashin set up they are selling for the 2024. I had to make 1.5” spacer for under the pull back plate for it to work. The pull back plate then sits outside the clam shell. I think Thrashin just uses the 9” in the stock location. Yes I believe it’s more comfortable. I like the bars close so I have more of an upright riding position.
