High Blood Pressure & Obstructive Sleep Apnea
In children mouth breathing is the most common cause of obstructive sleep apnea, so I guess in adults also significant. Dry air irritates mucosa, leading to mucosal edema, smoking does too. Psych drugs, sedatives, also relax throat muscles among other apnea effects, leading to obstruction, this is very common in infants, so again probably in adults. Evidence for drugs causing this in adults, such as benzos: "This study suggests that sleep apnea syndrome can be associated with some drugs (mainly psychotropics)" Can drugs induce or aggravate sleep apneas? A case-noncase study in VigiBase®, the WHO pharmacovigilance database, 2016. Let's just call it, it's the drugs again. To top it off, ace inhibitors cause respiratory inflammation which leads to apnea. (Btw I'm on an albendazole/prazi course and this is the first time ever that my sinuses are clearing up in the morning)
I have giant cell arteritis. I can make you permanently blind in one or both eyes (fortunately I only lost sight in one so far). It can kill you. This guy is talking about pesky headaches??
Hi, (Not a doctor) Sleep Apnea is primarily a deficiency of Vit B1 !!! Might want to take B complex, and B1. Got this from a doctor, tried it, and it worked !!!
This isn’t true (sleep medicine professional)
Promo'SM 😝
With all due respect missed a lot of important information. Kind of does a disservice
Can't wait to see you there!
No. No sleep apnoea issues.
If someone has metal implant such as in the joint, is it safe to use the Cold laser treatment for relief and maintenance? Thank you.
❤❤❤❤ Great job
Can phase 2 be accomplished with Invisalign instead of braces if so how
I seen my cardiologist for the first time today. He was the doctor to advise me my blood pressure could be from sleep apnea. So I decided to reach the information I was provided today. Looking at this video confirmed I chose an amazing doctor. Thank you for this knowledge
Same here. My heart was beating abnormally and I was experiencing chest pain. I insisted with my doctor that I get a cardiologist referral and they were the one who told me to get a sleep study. Sure enough, I had sleep apnea. Hopefully you have a cpap machine by now. God bless!
@@alr8141 no I never went to the sleep study I was tired of going to the doctors and all my test are coming back good I just don’t see the need

Can CPAP masks lead to hypertension over time? I first had sleep apnea and started using CPAP masks then developed hypertension. I suspect CPAP?
No Cpap helps with hypertension , check your Cpap air setup something is badly wrong there

I've read the small print on the SPRY gum and mints, it say, "Raw materials from China and USA." Is this also true for the Xlear Nasal spray?
I checked with Xlear, Inc and their response is: All xylitol used in Xlear and Spry is imported. It is also Project non-GMO verified, pharmaceutical grade purity, and once it arrives to our warehouse it is independently third-party tested for quality.
@@tmjandsleep Very good, thank you for posting. That's a more definitive reply than I received. I really like the Xlear, especially the more recent "Rescue" herbal formula. Do you have any feedback on the benefits of the Rescue formulation over the Daily version?
Uso sempre. Muito bom
Thanks
My nose is often to bloated to nose breath.. what do i do? Surgery?
Thanks for this video.
Excellent explained mouth breathing I am satisfied
I just came from my doctor and needed to hear a different perspective
Listen to your doctor for goodness sake. My issues are as a consequence of not listening
@@Will-nb8qk sure
will cold lazer therapy work for long thoracic nerve injury?
Thank you so much for the very helpful clarification! It helps me a lot in diagnose the symptoms of hypertension at mid-might caused by sleep apnea. I look forward to your other videos related to this issue and the appropriate treatment as well as physiotherapy.
Great explanation. 1.5 months into my CPAP therapy and I've already dropped from 150 to 130, and I only just now found a mask & cushion combo that doesn't leak, so it should keep improving from here!
There is no reasonable solution for obstructive sleep apnea. Cpap machine is bullshit!!!! Or get chunks removed out of your mouth with surgery….wtf???

When I was little my nose was really blocked and i never really bothered with nose breathing
I have low pressure over 250 / 120 don't do hair
I've just started with my CPAP machine, my third night, I'll be back to update, first week of February, 22'
How’s it going? I’ve just been diagnosed!
@@equinoxoak9328 Going great, the F30i mask is the way to go, I also have the ResMed Air Sense 10 machine My blood pressure has dropped back to the normal range, Oct 27 will be my three month mark Sleep is really enjoyable now, it's like I can't wait to go to bed I average seven hours seven days a week, haven't missed a night

@@shadythereok I’m currently on 7 pills for hypertension and just got diagnosed with sleep apnea. I can’t wait to get a machine. Did you loose any weight after you started using a CPAP? And how bad was your bp? Thanks.
So in and out in the nose then
Mouth breathing makes you ugly..
Mouth breathing can reduced my tics
"Mouth breathing can reduced my tics." Genius
I have these times during days (lasting from 10 minutes- a few hours) where I can’t stay sitting or laying down for more than 5 minutes at most. I feel like I have a TON of energy and I have the extremely strong urge to just start shaking like crazy to try to get out as much energy as possible. I have also tried exercising (like doing push-ups or other stationary exercises) to get out the energy, but I feel like shaking does it best.
What about mouth breathing during very tiring exercise? Because it feels like my body wants to push me into mouth breathing then.
that's fine, just make sure to nose breathe the rest of the day
Is b1 effect to treat,sleep apnea??How about RNA supplement?Thanks
Ditto that....well explained and easily understood.
This is exactly the information I was looking for, thank you!
Thank you for this explanation - it helps a lot. None of the doctors I've seen have been able to tell me why I've developed hypertension with no other risk factors involved (and with major incidents at night). I will definitely follow up on this.
Excellent video, I'm on a mission to convince people to consider nose breathing as a elixir of life. Stress is the number one contributor of EVERY chronic disease and slow even nose breathing can send the body into the 'healing' Rest & Digest. I'm an active fit, strong 65 year old who now only exercises in the limits of be able to nose breath. I could go on.... Thanks
Thanks for this information.Very helpful.
great explanation Dave!!
I thought this vid was about help. It's not.
Thank you for the video; lots of good information.
