Hey everybody!!
My name is Bobby and I am section hiking the Appalachian Trail. I just happened to also be born with a complex congenital heart defect (single ventricle), and I thought hiking was impossible because often a simple walk left me short of breathy. By the time I was 5 years old, I had 4 open heart surgeries and had spent 6 months in ICU. But I never gave up and worked really hard to become a strong hiker. I plan on hiking the entire AT trail in a combination of day hikes, backpacking and camping trips. Hiking the AT is important for me to do because I want to inspire all people to do something that they think is impossible, whether or not they have a disability. By watching my video, I hope they will be inspired to try. I am always up for a challenge and find ways to do something even if it is hard for me. Bed Frame Completion
Hi everybody,
this is our video of us maiking our frame for our bed. We had to do a lot of cutting and drilling but in the end we made it work. This is so exciting and we can't wait to sleep on our own bed!

I am fairly sure that the place in Dalton where the trekking poles were is Tom Levardi's house. Not sure if he still hosts hikers in his yard but he was a wonderful Trail Angel that I met on my Thru-Hike back in 1999. He served us ice cream on the porch!
What app are you using to track yourself on the trail?
I’ve been using Seresto collars on Harper since she was a puppy. I have yet to find a flea or tick on her or me she is 10 now. Not sure what you use but they work well. Keep chugging along! Love watching you guys on the trail!
