Enjoyed his Pismo shop from 2008-2010. The place always smelled like pizza. Good memories, good cook.
A true master pizza chef. Sam sold his latter store in 2023. His pastrami sandwiches were heavenly. Retire well, Sam.
As of June 2023, 77 year old Sam has sold out and closed his final Italian pizza shop to a much needed retirement for decades of dedication and good food. His pastrami sandwiches were delicious and spectacular.
Pismo Beach and Grover Beach local 38 years. I recall working Taco Bell in 2001 next to his older shop in Pismo Beach until its fire in 2011. His $3 15-inch slices could cover your hand. Good deep-dish pizzas undeniably.
I recall from 2008- 2010 on grave shifts chilling at his shop between to get a pizza slice on a 12 hour shift . However, it was his pastrami sandwich that was a taste of heaven.
