This was incredibly helpful as someone new to iRacing, thank you!
Perfect! Wish I had found your video a few days ago. I was hesitant to drop the steering column for fear of bending/breaking something. I did have another bolt near the windshield about the middle of the passenger side. It looked more like a clamp. I was caught off guard when you removed the shift indicator and dismissed it. Mine must have been removed before, and I managed to break it the rest of the way; like $50 for a new one. I'm sure I removed too many screws by missing your video. I agree with @jonathanolin2643 ~ you cut to the chase. I'll save the link for putting ny dash back together. I'm sure I'll have parts left over, if I don't.
Great video! I was looking for videos on troubleshooting the motors on the driver seats and this one popped up. I’d rather pull the seat out so I can work on it instead of trying to work on it still in the car.
Excellent instructions !!! really Helpful
Nice job Sir
Who ever came up with white cloth seats must have been smoking carpet glue?
Yo i Think im your first man that has see this vid keep going man
Hey man, awesome video. Yiu did a great job on this as well as explaining everything🤘 thank you very very kindly
How do you know the clock spring went bad? A relative just bought a 2006 Malibu and when I hit the brakes( rotors are warped) it vibrates the car and I hear a light clicking sound from the steering column? I was able to recreate accelerating up a bumpy hill as well. It's for sure is not sway bar bushings or links, etc
They pump it strait from the source to the feald across the road by pumping it up over the road it in Norfolk county Ontario
Great video. Son plugged in a lithium battery power bank to charge while he got ready for work yesterday. Came out and wondered why his windows were black. Fire! Just the passenger seat and right side of the console, but today we removed the seat so he can still use the car without the burnt debris in there with him.
So how much would you say i need to do just to replace the AC vacuum lines.
Thank you
You're welcome
I can hear will ferrell screaming "I drive a Dodge Stratus!"

Why do you want the tires hot? Also is it a game mechanic where the heat from the brakes effects the tires?
I'm not sure of the official in game answer, but I can share real life experience. Cold tires are slippery, warm tires are sticky. This is unfortunately true only to a point though, as hot tires get slippery. A good example of this is drag racing burn outs. You never see a half second burn out, because the tires would still be too cold / slippery. On the other hand, you ever see a minute long burn out, as that would overheat the tires, making them 'greasy'. In circle track racing, a cold tire, such as the beginning of a race, will not have the traction of a warm tire that has, say, 5 laps on it. That's why the first few laps of a race will normally have the most incidents / spins / wrecks. As far as in game mechanics, I can't say for sure. But the concept is thermal transfer through proximity. Heat from the brake pad is transferred to the rotor, which is transferred to the wheel, to the tire; as well as thermal radiation from the proximity of the wheel to the rotor/brake assembly. Hope this helps!
So your conclusion is that it isn't worth it. But I'd be interesting in seeing the percentage of heat gained by scrubbing versus when you cross the line after your out-lap or the first lap after a restart. I have no way to contextualize "11 degrees" when I don't have any information about what your tires are at when they're at race temps. If your tires only change by 33 degrees at full race temps, then it seems like it would be worth it. If it changes 200 degrees, then yeah, maybe it's not so much. But even then, at the end of the day a small advantage in racing could pay out huge dividends. 0.1 seconds doesn't sound like a lot in regular life, but in racing, it can make a huge difference over a few dozen laps. If a little extra grip helps you gain a couple positions and get in front of some problematic people, it could make a huge difference. I had always been told that scrubbing tires literally does nothing, so I don't normally bother unless I'm just trying to "get in the zone". But now? Knowing that it DOES do something? I'll probably be scrubbing hard to get a little more grip in turn one.
I'd be interested in doing something like that, actually. I think I get what you're saying - if the 10 (or whatever) degrees is MULTIPLIED after a lap or two, then the benefit is multiplied. Or did I misunderstand you? If I'm understanding you correctly, you're referring to a comparison of no scrubbing / moderate scrubbing / extreme scrubbing, each followed by a lap (or 2?) at speed?
@@Team204 Yes and no. My feeling is that even if the initial advantage is small, it can get you ahead of the pack early on, which can make a big difference later on when people start battling behind you. On a lot of oval tracks, even a a tenth of a second or two can make a big difference in the first couple laps to keep you ahead of the pack. If those ten degrees can get your car settled earlier so you can get an early jump, it could be huge. I guess my other point was, I have no idea what my tire temps are when I'm at full race speed. If my tire temps go from 110 to 125, 15 degrees doesn't sound like much. But if my tires settle in at 130, then that initial jump to 125 might seem more significant. Obviously I'm pulling those numbers out of my ass. But a comparison to what the tire temps settle into would be useful here. Unfortunately since iRacing doesn't have live tire temps, that makes it pretty difficult to determine.
For me its more about being more connected to the car, moving the wheel "calibrates" my brain to the steering rack.
Well, with THAT thought in mind, then it's completely worth it! I guess, if it helps, it can't hurt!
Getting a new interior and this was the daunting part lol thank you for the clear instructions!
Happy to help!
How did you come up with the team 204 name? That's our area code up here in Winnipeg MB Canada lol... But your channel says it's American... So I'm just curious 🤔
I've raced in real life for years, my number was 204 (It was the address of a car dealership I owned, that's where 204 originated). But, hey, you've got the BEST area code!!
🎊 Promo>SM
these older nissan seem to be beloved online but I had an absolutely CRAP 2001 sentra that no matter what I did I could never get it to run right, all new spark plugs, coils, the old owner had replaced the ecu and intake air temp sensor and other stuff, even after I put a new expensive good brand MAF sensor in it, it would ALWAYS have a cylinder 3 misfire...even had a shop put in a new number 3 injector. Guzzled gas too. Was my first car for only $1000 back in 2016. Sadly, with how gouged stuff is these days, these older nissans are some of the only reasonable costing vehicles in my area, I don't think many even think about them or give them a 2nd glance....If I could get one that'd run right I'd love to give another 4 cylinder gas saver one another try, but honestly am a little wary. Maybe I just got a lemon from the pits of hell. I mean, everything besides the actual engine that could cause the thing to not run right had been replaced lol

Not too shabby of a video... but, JD does it better....
Ya know, I couldn't agree more! He makes some really great videos! Thanks for watching!
Best video on this removal. Straight to the point, 10/10.
Thanks!
Idle control valve😊
Is there a chance that bumping the optical sensor could fix this?? My truck is doing the same. Yours is the the only video I can find with the same issue I have… ready to pull my hair out, an I’m bald
It ended up being the injection pump. I replaced it, and it drives like a million bucks now!
Wow! Your the man! Well explained awesome!
Glad you liked it!
That's a slick trick. By any chance do you know HOW to get the AC system and blend door reset program to GET OUT OF RESET/ TEST MODE. I reset mine (didn't fix issues) but AC and recirculating lights will not stop blinking. Thx

Great vid , I just bought one , I have soot around the stove ,do you have that ,I wonder if I am not burning it hot enough , open the damper fuller, any ideas
Why is the thumbnail his ass ?
We're can I buy some thing like that
Wow that's awesome
dam he is real rough. this is NOT how to do shit ppl
Haha right?! I was waiting for him to get a hammer our and start swinging!
He's probably getting it ready for demo derby and doesn't need all that extra plastic.
I had one and the thing was a shitbox, very safe for accidents and good on gas but it’s a total shit box. So I didn’t respect it and I beat up on it and eventually I got into a bad crash with it and totalled it. It was my first car, so lol and I’ve gotten a much newer and better car, and I haven’t gotten into any crashes, and I have respected it since
Thanks my friend it worked great
Glad it helped!!
Great video. Showed everything needed, and cut out most of the time turning wrenches.
Thank you for the feedback! Really glad it helped!
What would be the price for this boat today? They’re selling one of this and I’m considering to buy as my first boat, but not sure what would be a right price. Thanks
I m having same problem with my truck
It ended up being the injection pump. I ended up getting a reman out of Florida pretty reasonable. Now it drives like a brand new teuck.
@@Team204when you got the new lP did you have to have a GM dealer like set it up for your truck or do they come preset ?
