I just find the "range" of 120s even with Igneous to be barely, BARELY better than 140s, no matter what anyone says. They crit now for 90 and 140s crit for less, but 140s just feel like they kill quicker and the barely-better range of 120s plus slower RoF just means you lose more fights as people run away easier vs 120s.

What other helmet can I use?

Any build that uses Dawn Chorus has a better alternative Honestly the same thing can be said for Lunas Howl. Although this one is more personal preference, imo Lunas really just cant compete with Zoulis bane in PvE. Even Epochal Integration feels waaaay better than lunas howl, so it should really be a last resort for solar hand cannons. Idk maybe other people like it, but it really just hits like a pea shooter in any content that isn't on level

If you have a sniper with osmosis in the kinetic slot you can make your sniper solar to benefit from the seasonal mod for solar scorching on solar sniper precision hits

Im thinking of maybe running ember of blistering over ember of singeing for grenade recharge (maybe with incendiary grenade even) and then eye of another world so that my phoenix dive is still about fast up enough again to cycle hellions. I personally dont really see dawn chorus value here apart from the melee recharge since dawn chorus doesnt effect ignitions whatsoever which id want to focus on entirely. Overall i love the build tho, cant go wrong with chaining ignitions and watching whole rooms blow up

You know what’s also extremely nutty with this build? Perfect Fifth Ergo Caster, and the old OLD Solar Caster from Trials with Chain Reaction 😭

How does star-eaters work with the song of flame, do you get the damage buff the whole time?

I hate these class item builds because I never have the combos suggested and farming them sucks.

Why not just use spirit of osmomancy and spirit of verity? You get the huge increase in nade dmg plus the osmomancy return along with devour grenade return!

Starfire doesn’t really do anything for this build - way better options available.

Nah, you need to try a Necrotic and Synthisteps roll. Using that combo with the arc slide melee aspect and the strand needle melee is insane. You basically get three charges of an ad clearing nuke every time you pop song of flame or transcendence, and every time you use it, it procs the melee dmg increase from synthisteps.

is definitely a good if not very good build, but luck is not on my side and i will never see this class item.

Not a fan of osmiomancy at all. Especially where they put a hit cool down on vortex grenades. Spoil is much better imo. Run it with Monte Carlo and you can just spam melees to boost grenade Regen.

You might want to consider running a bolstering detonation mod with this build. Hits with your grenade will grant you 12%/17%/20% class ability depending on how many mods you have. Running three can get you your class ability back in just 5 hits. You sacrifice the orbs for the class ability spam. On top of that i have a call with strategist on it(Still waiting for a fusion rifle or glaive with strategist on it for the 20% per kill.).

Ok so maybe I missed something in the video but I can’t stop thinking about engrams and I’m in a bar so I can’t watch it again right now. Can I ask why specifically you use Thorn? I love thorn, I’m a D1 vet, it’s been in my life for over a decade, but I’m trash at pvp so hardly ever got to use it. The hand cannon says it poisons the target it hits, nothing about spreading it, is there an interaction with the exotic armour perk? Or is the massive add clear from the melees and thorn is just dope and fits the theme? Also is the only way for me to get Necrotics in the final shape from Rahool? And could you please explain the difference between the exotic class item version of the perk and the one that’s on the gloves? Please, thank you, have fun out there. P.S thanks for the build I was getting so sick of crushing grenades.

Ive been frustrated because i have no star eater, or innmost light rolls and only one osmiomancy roll in 20 exotic class items. Watching anyways, and see an empowering rift in your build and go. "whaaaaaaaat". Guess what one osmiomancy rolll I have? Lmao, im genuinely so excited to give this a try. Thanks for the build. And I have the new comp auto with Repulsor brace / destabilizing. Good heavens this build feels like it was just for me. lmao.

What if you use lost signal for witherhoard and collective obligation as the energy weapon

Maybe a kinetic tremor weapon that does tick damage to group of enemies will also enable a faster grenade regen on a empowering rift since for the starfire spirit...

I have a roll that’s starfire and empowering rifts grant devour so I’m going to give it a try seems like it could be really good in endgame content and with this build

This class item is legitimately nuts. Insane ad clear and miniboss killer when built into. My build: Feed the Void + Weaver’s Call Class item: Osmio+Starfire - Threadling Nade, Snap or Needle as the melee, Empowering Rift - Weapons: Euphony (Raid Exotic), Ros Arago (World Drop w/ Permeability + Onslaught), Heavy of Choice. Loop, throw nade or melee to proc devour, empowering rift, Ros Arago is now Strand so kills with RA proc onslaught, devour, starfire, and have a chance to generate a perched threadling. Keep throwing nades and melting with x3 Onslaught. Since you are making a shit load of threadlings, you build up stacks of Euphony’s perk granting more damage. Melt any Elites or Minibosses with Euphony. Save heavy for a rainy day or boss dmg.
