The well-being of our pupils is always a priority and teaching strategies to help them cope in challenging times has never been more important. This week, children were challenged to design an Un-worry Island filled with things that make them happy and that they can imagine when feeling worried, upset or just a little blue.

P5-7 pupils of St.Mary’s Primary School have had lots of fun this past week learning ‘The Slosh’. We hope this brings a smile to your face this Christmas.

UNCRC Article 29 says that education should nurture children's talents and abilities and here's an example of some fantastic musical talent in Primary 6. The children really enjoyed learning how to play Jingle Bells on the ukuleles and they hope you enjoy their wonderful performance!

P7 were challenged to create an engaging video to share their knowledge of St.Andrew. They researched facts, wrote scripts, filmed parts and used ICT to edit create their film. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it!
